Here's what I'm getting at. Ok the church is allegedly founded on Christ. And Jesus IMPLICITLY told his disciples to help the poor. And then we have this parable of Jesus and the rich man and Jesus telling the guy "go and sell all you have, give the money to the poor and come follow me".

Now ok so let us flash forward to the year 2007. The vatican over the years has amassed millions if not billions of dollars in net worth. By acquiring real estate, artifacts, religous relics, priceless works of sculpture and paintings. Now I don't ever recall reading in the bible where Christ told anyone to go and amass some artifacts in a building and amass some huge amount of wealth and man I think I recall him getting angry over people trying to make money off his fathers name.

So why, if the catholic church has all this money and wealth, can't they give out an education to the poor children of the world at no cost?

Why do only the better off parents get to send kids to their schools?

It's not a rude question just trying to understand why? What are your teachings? I would really like answers from people that are from a non-denominational church because if you are not part of that church then you really can answer with a truthful answer so please help me answer this, Just trying to understand.....

One more question do you believe it's ok to except gays or that it's ok to have sex when unmarried and still be excepted like you did nothing wrong?

It's not just asians but i've seen many asians having one of those electronic translators. My question is, people have learned and survived even when those things didn't exist. You just need to study a bit and then you can ask , make questions if you don't understand something. Even make drawings or diagrams to get the point across. Being dependant on a little gadget is weird. I'm studying Japanese too, and if I went to Japan i wouldn't buy one of those ever. I would ask or figure it out little by little. I don't know, but i feel these Asians who often carry one of these translators are not going to learn much if they rely on those things.

Preps get to be prom king and queen, same for homecoming and such things. The non-preps are not even thought of for something like that. We are a last resort. Like this year for me and my friends. The only reason we got picked for Sno-Daze coronation is because the preps already went through the whole deal. We are a LAST RESORT!!!!!!!!

The majority of Christians that I have met (I'm a buddhist), are loving, kind people. My friends that are Christian (none of them catholic surprisingly), have explained to me that the bible preaches love, kindness, and do not judge others.

I am confused, as I have seen many Christians (mostly Republicans for some reason), who judge others, for example gays, and things as simple as gay rights. I've seen some of these Christians bash gays, and judge them, or what it seems like converting them, or having them admit to sin or something to that effect.

My question is, I thought a core ideal from the bible was to love (not hate) and not judge others.

This is an honest question coming from a non-christian who is wanting to understand.

Is it okay as a Christian to judge others (for example gays and their lifestyle)? If not, it seems to put the wrong face on the Christian religion. If you do believe in love and non-judgement of others, how do you feel about these other Christians?

Ok well i dont know a sweet potato of this langauge but i will like to know how to speak some words cause the language is very tight as well as hows its spelled.
Anyway is there a website that translates english to arabic?

For example i type potato and it tells it in ''english text'' how to say it in arabic.
Because some sites i've seen translate to arabic language and im like this is bull and just close browser.

I dont care if the arabic typing comes out or not, i just want to see how to say it in english text thank you.

It bothers me so much to see postings by "Christians" who come here just to bash! I am a Christian but I cringe every time I see a posting that hurts people. Christ came in love and helped hurting people. Do they not realize that by spewing hatred rather than the Word of God in love turns people off? What experiences have you guys/gals had Christians and what did it make you think of them? Would you ever give another an opportunity to make ammends?
I was just wondering cause I'm mad at some chick who posted something really rude about 5 minutes ago. Thanks to our community board, they removed it :)
