What will be the reaction of our grandchildren when they come to know about the funny religious practices?
Like having drowned to remove the past sin , having bath in holy rivers , mumbling the feeling's on to thin air , calling god with prayers , licking the floor 5 time per day , singing for god , burning candles

Please Explain, for example-- I never thought about it, I choose not to be, I don't know what it is, I think it's stupid, whatever. Just please be serious. Thank you for your answer.

She wasn't! Hattie McDaniel was the first Black person and woman to ever win one. She won it back in 1939 for her role in "Gone with the Wind"

It seems that the keystone of religion is the concept of the soul or spirit. Most religions have it and it seems to be a central aspect of the human experience. What is it, how can we define it, how can we "see" it, can we measure it, can we feel it (obviously), can we have religion without it, can we have athiesm with it?

i have known my friend for 11 years, and we have been best friends. we would always go over each others houses, and hang out and do stuff together. we still do, and are very close to this day. over the past about two years, i have been starting to want more than a friendship relationship with him. he never talks about girls with me, or mentions anything about wanting to have sex with one. we would wrestle and throw pillows at each other and he smiles and always makes eye contact with me and smirks sometimes. one time i was at his house and he was walking around with his pants down but his boxers up. then one time we were in the bathroom and he came up next to me and pulled his shirt up and pulled his wang and balls out to take a piss. but when were around other guys he says how stuff like that is gay. do u think he wants to have a more intense relationship with me? should i ask him if he is bi/gay cuz i am bi and i want t to know if he is really badly. please help me....thanks.

It seems to me that community bonds are rapidly dissolving. People are becoming increasingly more insular and less connected to their neighbors. The most frightening thing about this is that I'm not an old fella talking about the "good old days". I am 21 and I can see humanity worsening in my local communities within periods of single years.

Case in point:

I was walking through the park with my dad and we walked past a father and his two children, a son of about 12 and a daughter (age about 6-7) who were fishing. The kids caught lots of fish so when we walked past them, I asked them both for a high-five. That's just the type of thing I do. The father only looked at me as though I was some kind of pedophile freak.

Is this what the bad news on TV is doing to people? Doesn't that make evil win?

What the hell is wrong with people? Aren't we supposed to want the unity of mankind, not it's desolation? It's little things that are important and they aren't happening...

why can girls say that other girls are pretty or cute without being called lesbians, but if a guy says another guy's cute or pretty he's automatically gay?
I hate that!

She's just been called to the hospital to perform an emergency appendectomy but her period just started and she has to be apart for 7 days. Leviticus 15:19-21

What should she do?

19: And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.
20: And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean.
21: And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

There are two very important charities that I am working for and would like this Gentleman to donate to. Last year he donate nearly 3 million to the charities. However, he has mentioned that he would make a HUGE contribution this year if he could have one last fling. Are there any legal issues with this and should the money be deposited before or after the act?
