For the past 5 years, I have gone to my brothers home on Christmas Eve. It has never reallly been enjoyable. There is a Yankee Swap that seems to turn people nasty. I do not want to go this year. I havent been invited yet but they have in the past usually called one or two days before. I dont care if my brother and his wife have any opinions. I would only go to see their child. Whats a good way to say NO without causing a family feud.

If Jesus did not say "Enter through the narrow Gate, for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it."
"For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it."
Then who did say this?

My boyfriend & I are in a pickle over the Santa present thing w/ our 4 yr old. I think that almost all of the presents should be from Santa - probably 75% of my presents were from Santa, 25% were from my parents when I was younger. My boyfriend thinks that only the best/most expensive present should be from Santa & the rest should be from us - very few of his presents were from Santa when he was younger. So, we are wondering how the majority of you do this. On Christmas morning, how many presents are from Santa & how many are from you?

The word "Renaissance" came from the France word "REN-uh-sahns" or "ren-uh-SAHNS" meaning the re-born or re-birth.It is a given period of time in the history of human civilization that lasted about 300 years from 1300 to1600 AD, which began in Itally. It swept away the customs and institutions of the human civilization that dominate more than a thousand years. Writers, painters, sculptures and others scholars used bold new techniques to express the spirit of the time.

Right now, the world around us, what is happening ? We are passing through a very critical time. For example, in politics, for the first time, in the history of British politics, Prime Minister of a British Government have been questioned by the police! The killing of Prostitutes, the alliged corruption in arms deals with Saudi Arabia and so no. In Middle East, in Bangladesh, in USA or Africa every where we find an unrest or disturbed situations.

So, we are at the edge of a "renaissance", a new world order !!!

Lets say if I dreamed of killing someone in my dream, is this a sin. If you have a sexual dream, is this also a sin? If the answer is no, what about lucid dreaming. I will define lucid dreaming if you are unsure what it means. When you are lucid, you are fully aware that you are dreaming. Sometimes you can even control the course of the dream with your mind, I have a few a year. Whenever I have one, I change it into a sexual dream for my own pleasure, is this a sin since I'm controlling my dream to have sex?

I know that it is an old Roma term for a being who is half human, half vampire, and who is adept at killing the undead, but I can't figure out how it is supposed to pronounced. I've seen this word spelled as Dhampir as well as Dhamphir, so I don't know which word is correct or how they are supposed to be pronounced. Any vamp fans out there who can help me out?

I need to kill 230,000 people. It's all part of my secret plan. What would you do?

How is this different from God causing/allowing the Asian tsunami and then excusing it by saying, "it's all part of God's plan, which we cannot understand." ?

...that everyone else is wrong? 32% of the world practices christianity in approximately 150 variances (make up your minds already about who is right), so that means 68% of the world is wrong? Two studies have found that when filling out questionaires, the higher someones iQ is the more likely they were to state either No Religion, Atheist or Agnostic in the column for religious preference. Hmm. As my father says "you're going to hell in a hand basket!" ...My response is always "how could I possibly fit in a hand basket?" love... that horrible, horrible person....atheist Jack...Happy Festivus to all and to all a good night!!

I'm not talking about ethnic names, either. I'm talking about for example, the kids at my daughter's school: Jadakiss, Alize, Hennessy...lol...what were their parents thinking? Shoot, I worry about my daughter too, who has a normal, but obviously Muslim name-I hope by the time she enters the workplace there won't be so much hatred for Muslims....
