I know that it is an old Roma term for a being who is half human, half vampire, and who is adept at killing the undead, but I can't figure out how it is supposed to pronounced. I've seen this word spelled as Dhampir as well as Dhamphir, so I don't know which word is correct or how they are supposed to be pronounced. Any vamp fans out there who can help me out?

In Vampire: The Masquerade, it's pronounced Dam-feer. I think it depends on the person you're talking to and where they heard it from.
