I am Christian (church of England), although I don't go to church regularly as I don't feel the need to, but I certainly believe in God etc.
However, I also believe in the mystic powers of the human mind - for example, I know that I have have dreams which are able to predict when friends or family members are pregnant, and I have had a few definite psychic experiences.
What I want to know is, does my belief in spiritual and pyschic things conflict with my Christianity?
i.e. is it ok to believe in both these things??

Ok, I would really like an adult answer to this question.

my boss and I are having a little debate about this. He says that people that practice Scientology do not believe in sex or having kids that way.

I think he is full of poo poo..

If the drug was legally administered to all users by a Doctor, you would imediatley and drastically cut crime.

It would also diminish the power and influence of the international criminals who control the black market.

Heroine is a massive and destructive problem, should the solution be in the hands of the government and the medical profession where it can be regulated and administered in a controlled manner, or should it be left in the hands of criminals and the black market.

The drugs policy in the UK is not working it needs to be changed.

Or should we just leave it exactly as it is?

Why when every time im asked what religion i am, i say athiest. just to end up being read the entire bible from cover to cover because they think i NEED to be saved?
Why do i get persecuted for believing the way i do?

these questions are targeted mainly at christians but do not single out EVERY christian on the planet.

i just wanna know basicly WHY i HAVE to believe in anything?
If its wrong for me to believe in nothing tell me why in a constructive non rage filled manner. i will not tolerate "religi-rage" messages stating how "evil" i am and how i should "open my eyes and see just what im doing to myself by not believing"

i am not saying your bad people for having some faith in life but how about taking a look at each other and asking what are we fight over.when it come down to the basics all religions are pretty much the same and yes your probaly thinking what would i know about the subject being a swordsman well swordsmen like my self can sit back and at different things in different ways but if you dont like the idea that i put before then sorry but i just want to sum one thing up is it worth trying to kill each other over IS IT!?!?!?

Ive noticed especialy on an anthropology question that specificaly stated "no references to the bible AND/OR Religion" some people kept saying stuff like adam and eve, and god created, blah blah the list goes on.

so my question is this, why must a lot of people ignore this simple request to have some non-religious answers involved when the outcome was meant to be fun and spice up a certain topic rather than have the same mumbo jumbo spoon fed to you now as it was when you were young?
