Ive noticed especialy on an anthropology question that specificaly stated "no references to the bible AND/OR Religion" some people kept saying stuff like adam and eve, and god created, blah blah the list goes on.

so my question is this, why must a lot of people ignore this simple request to have some non-religious answers involved when the outcome was meant to be fun and spice up a certain topic rather than have the same mumbo jumbo spoon fed to you now as it was when you were young?

I know what you mean....its a spooky thing
its simply sad to think that such a large number of people are "religious" its like a mental defect and worse still it infects the children....so on and on we go spinning out in space

Simple. A lot of Christians, especially "born-agains", don't refer to Christianity as a religion. They call it "a way of life". The word "religion", to them, is reserved for Catholicism, Judaism, Islam, etc. So when you ask a "critical thinking" question, they immediately refer to their "way of life".
