This is in answer to Anthea H. 2 Pet 2:20-22 'For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ , they are again entangled in them and is overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would heve been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it happened to them according to the proverb: "A dog returns to its own vomit," and, "s sow, having washed wallowing in the mire." (NKJV) This passage deals with false teachers. It talks about what we do after we are saved. The words 'pollutions of the world' make it clear that it deals with our walk with God on earth. It speaks about we behaving sinfully on earth what good have our salvation done for us living our lives on earth. Having been saved should we act sinfully? If we are then we are poor witnesses. It is not that we become unsaved.
