Another idea is to pair up with a girl and go "role reversal" - you dress like the woman, she dress like the man. I didn't get any gay jokes when I did that one year, and you can have some fun playing off each other, kind of a battle of the sexes in reverse.

Halloweeen affords guys a marvelous opportunity to explore life, if only to a certain extent, from the opposite side. No one will think you are perverted or gay, but rather strong-willed and daring. Perhaps people will laugh, but they will do so along with you if you approach the subject with a good sense of humor. For heaven's sake, dress up!

Yes! I know lots of people who've done that, its hilarious! Go all out--no one will really make gay jokes, maybe your friends, but you know they're not serious.
