I think there are too many people with superiority complexes who seem to get a thrill out of insulting anyone and everyone.
Live and let live appears to be an impossible dream right now and it is actually quite depressing to read some of the rudeness and lack of tolerance so openly displayed on this website.

I think a lot of ignorance and disrespect for other's beliefs are revealed. I know many view the war in Iraq and 911 as a Christianity versus Islam war, but all those posts just reveal how out of touch people can be with the real issues in the war and the world.

I have no doubt some are just looking to start something - while others are simply reacting to what they see certain sects and groups of Muslims are doing (killing their own kind and others, forcing people to convert to Islam at gun point and so on)..., and even you can understand how people would have a negative view of Islam.
Lets just say - the extremist Muslims are making Islam look worst than those who hate Islam could ever say about it.

Jesus was G-d's messenger of truth. He sometimes used insults to turn people from their sinful pride. Learn what you can, for in most comments there is a grain of truth, even though it is very small.

what educated non muslims say about Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
Sir George Bernard Shaw in 'The Genuine Islam' Vol 1, No.8, 1936...'I have studied him- the wonderful man and in my opinion far from being an anti-Christ, he must be called the Savior of humanity'
Mahatma Ghandi, statement published in 'Young India' 1924.....'When I closed the second volume (of the Prophet's biography), I was sorry there was not more for me to read of that great life'
Thomas Carlyle in 'Heroes and Hero Worship and the Heroic in History' 1840....'The lies (Western slander) which well meaning zeal has heaped round this man (Muhammad) are disgraceful to ourselves only'
