Doesn't really work, does it? You're not offended at all, because you know that Zeus was a mythical god of the Greeks. The purpose for profanity is to express strong feelings, to get peoples attention and in some cases to deliberately offend.
As long as there are still bible believers, Godammit or for chrisakes are still going to be popular as curse words. Stop believing in your fairy tale gods, and there'll be no reason to use them in our curses.
