Mime Costume?

Question

What do you need for a mime costume? I already know some things that I will need, but i'm just asking for more opinions if i am forgetting something or not. Please list everything a mime might need, and anything else that might make the costume unique. Thank you.

Black pants and a striped shirt. Paint your face white, and do vertical dashes above and below your eyes. Wear a black barrette and white gloves as well.

You could also go as "the only good mime" ... a dead mime!

you may enjoy being a cute mime. for suspenders, try either the men's or boys department at the store, depending on the size (length). you may need alligator clasps or buttons sewn on to wear the type you choose. you need a standard mime, white pair of gloves, that reach the wrist. a ladies apparel shop may supply you with a black skirt. i'm sure the great mime, marcelle marceau would approve. don't forget the white face paint , from hairline to jawline, eyeliner and mascara, dark eyebrows,

I always think of a mime as wearing black pants, a black turtle neck (or black and white striped shirt with red suspenders), a black beret, white gloves and white face paint. Also black eyeliner, with black skinny triangles or slashes above and below each eye. I feel like the black beret is crucial.
