I'm not sure...it's sort of like my desire to run around hugging tourists in a Teletubby costume. Just because you might not be amused by it doesn't mean I won't be!!

I just need some huge religious event that I can crash in a big way...My naked @ss running across the stage on prime time would be AWESOME!!! See you (me???) soon!!!

'Cause it makes me laugh...

First off, I'll define peace as true state of being not temporary relief from torment and inner turmoil.

If there were a price you could pay to live in a state of continual peace regardless of circumstances and situations, what would you think that price would be, and do you think the price would be within your reach?

SIngle women would be required to marry be age 20. Men would marry after they finished college and had a good job to provide. No more sports teams for women either. That would be replaced with women's sewing clubs, gardening, cooking , etc. Back to traditonal values, sounds like heaven to me. Oh and to those who are going to bring up all the women who are trapped in abusive marriages, it has nothing to do with marriage as just as many women who shack up with someone get abused and they seem to be just as controlled by the men even though they aren't married to them. All women are ordered back to the home.

I am a Muslim Iranian girl. For Iran's young ; anything is illegal.I dont believe in Heajab ( wearing scarf) but i have to do that when i go out. It seems everything is getting difficult in iran.We want to fall in love with out any permission, we want to be free, and speak freely. we want to know the beauties' God. Not that god That Mollas's show us every day. Our God is beautiful,Our God is pure , Our God is lover. Our God loves every one , Colour, Language , Religion doesnt matter for him.
You think what can we do ??? Is there any hope ? a new , pretty future ? a new window to see the world ?

The sky , with all it's greatness , belongs to us.
Thank you so much.

recently i read osho's "from sex to super consciousness". earlier i used to think that he was a sex guru and guru of rich only. but my belief was shattered. this man was not for rich only . this man was for whole humanity. this man was not talking about sex only . but he was talking about superconsciosness also. i may be utterly wrong. what are your views?

Christians have their Jesus and Muslims hold Mohammed to the highest esteem, but this article points out that atheism is false as it has no founder.
http://www.tencommandments.org/heathens5.shtml
for those that hate links, here is a blurb: Not even the most "educated" atheists - particularly those associated with the most elite universities throughout the world can truthfully inform you when and by whom atheism originated.
I'm pretty sure Ernestine Rose had the answer if anyone cares to quote it, but I was wondering if any of you had answers. Thanks

Myself, I can't see why they WOULDN'T be there---"heaven", by whatever name, just wouldn't be any FUN without loads of 4-foots, wonderful fish, and gorgeous birds (considering how much joy they give us here on earth). FWIW, I'm a Pagan (ex-Lutheran).

Can I get perspectives from other people as to their thoughts on this (and your faith background, if you're comfortable sharing)? Your personal beliefs may differ from what your faith community holds as true, by the way....I'd like a focus on _personal beliefs_ and the relig. background is mostly curiosity on my part. (Basically, I'm not all that interested in what "X denomination" specifically believes, but it'd be interesting to see how it shapes thoughts...)

Also, if you have any specific "holy book references" (any faith tradition) that definitely says _yes_, could you share them with all of us? Thanks!

(Sits back, curiously awaiting replies)
