When in Chicago I enjoyed both Holy Cow and The Cheesecake Factory. Both very good.

Buddy's has been out of business for the past three years. I don't know where he got that old link from.
Tomboy is north of the "boystown" district, but it's worth the drive. Absolutely amazing food, great atmosphere and it's Lesbian Owned!!
An award winning restaurant and a wonderful cozy feel, draped velvet over brick walls.
Everyone feels part of the family at this Uptown eatery.
It used to be a BYOB restaurant, but now they have a terrific wine list as well as signature Martini's.
I do recommend calling for seating in advance though. Luckily it's a weekday evening, but the weekends are packed and by reservation only.
