I am a scientist, I believe in evolution, I also believe in the Big bang theory, but I also believe there is God present in all of these things. Even demons in hell believe in god (that was put there for you Christians) You dont have to believe God is a man or human. God is the process of life and death (that you have no control over mind you) God is the timing process that allows our substrate universe to not slam into each other. Why dont we collide with the sun (is this an accident too?). Just think about it.

I am interested in the Freemasons, and I am considering asking 2 friends who are Masons (one 3rd Degree, one 32nd Scottish Rite) about petitioning. However, I am a bit afraid of joining because of society's views of "secret societies" and what my friends and family may think.

I am fascinated with history, and I have a particular interest in conspiratorial or other than textbook views of history; and the Freemasons and Knights Templar have been occupying a bit of my interest recently. Therefore, I thought that it might be interesting to join the Masons.

Any suggestions?
Anyone a Freemason that can or will comment?
Should I be worried about joining?

SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE.

...the famous robbers who committed many successful robberies before one of them was shot dead? All I know is that they travelled all over the world and became famous because they never actually hurt anyone. A lot of their international crimes took cues from Hollywood blockbusters, such as using an exploding truck to block of traffic (Ronin?).

I think their most famous job was stealing a load of money off of African drug dealers but I can't be sure...there were about five of them I think, all white guys either from USA or UK.

I also believe they might have had a name like 'The A-Team', (not the actual A-Team) that was bestowed upon them by the media.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Im 31 years old and have been in the church all my life. I committed my life to God in 1998. I was walking directly into my destiny and I knew it. I had passion for God and His ways that was amazing. But I decided things were not moving fast enough so i got discouraged and slacked off. I soon found myself almost completely back to where I began.
I re-dedicated my life in 2005 but I have doubts about my future in God. There is a strong sense of hopelessness in my daily walk-my prayer life, my studying, everything. I feel real empty inside as if i'm disconnected from God and just going thru the motions. The prophesies that were spoken over my life seem so far from me now. I feel invisible in church like God blesses those around me but not me. Its a very strong sense of hopelessness. Im not depressed or even sad.God healed that. Im just not sure what direction to take. Can anyone relate/ give advice? I want to connect with this awesome move of God and have the passion i once had.

I've just graduated from Uni with a degree in archaeology although my prinicial areas of interest are history, conservation and religious studies.

I am interested in a career within the prison service which does not involve being a guard or security staff.

As there is a need for qualifications to become a prison psychologist etc etc, what else could I do? I have been told that prisons hire occupational therapists but that these tend to be people with practical skills, eg builders and plumbers.

Any advice?

I have chosen to follow the path of the Ancient Pagan practices. I chose to follow this path many years ago, and for plenty of reasons. One being that the Earth gives us everything that we need, including what Jesus may do for you. I have a faith so strong that is far too intricate and complex for me to post on here. Those of you who follow the same path should know why.
Go on, announce your loyalty to your God to the rest of the world, and in a few words, tell us all why you chose to have such faith in this or these being/s?

"Faith" is the act by which we give our ultimate commitment to some reality. I observe in the natural world a process by which complex and rich values grow. I have faith in that process, i.e., I give my ultimate commitment to that process. I call that process "God," even though I do not believe it is a supernatural, omnipotent, omniscient "person." I want to believe nothing about that process except what I can know with reasonable certainty based on empirical observation and rational analysis. I do not believe that any religious tradition has a privileged or infallible source of knowledge about this reality.

Am I a theist or an atheist?
