Whatever you choose to call it, there is a force that looks after all of us.

The way you define "god" implies a consciousness behind it. You are not too far from a definition I could buy, but not the conscious part. I don't buy the consciousness because I don't see that putting it there really solves anything. It just moves the question back a step.
Why doesn't the Earth and Sun collide - It is following laws of physics
Where do those laws come from?
A) They are always there
B) Some conscious being made them that way
If you pick B then the question goes to what made that being and you are left with
A) He was always there
B) Some conscious being made him (or her) that way
You have only delayed the question and not answered a thing. Where do you stop?

The concept of God in general does not make sense to me.
Your concept of God is akin to intelligent design. I prefer to think of the restrictions on possible interactions of matter and energy as a necessary product of their characteristics. As for timing, time is a human construct. We use it to describe, but it has no essence of its own (or so I believe).
The earth does not collide with the sun because of the centrifugal and gravitational forces that happen to act on the planet keeping it close while pushing it away. If you wanted to factor in timing, this chunk of matter just happened to come flying by the sun at the right location and speed to get caught in it's gravitational pull, but not sucked into the star. If it were not this chunk, it could have been any other.

Yes, even demons believe in God, that is why James says "faith without works is dead." God is not a man or human, He is above us, and I think he is much more than just a force or process. Try reading the book SCEWTAPE LETTERS, it is a very interesting mind opening book by CS Lewis.

Whenever I see your questions, I can't get Mr. T's voice out of my head. It's hillarious. I don't believe in God as an entity. It is concievable that God is a cosmic force, or the matter that all of this mess we call reality is composed of. Interesting.

if im not wrong
the planets dun crash into each other is because of the gravitational force of the sun
i also agree that god is not a man or even human
anyway it is individual believe
if you believe in god
you have faith in god
then to you god might be a human who is holy and pure
someone who never sin

Believe in god makes no sense. If you believe that "god" created the universe, then who created god. And if no one created god, then god came from nothing.
The fact that we live in the universe that allows life to evolve in no way supports the existence of god, it only supports the fact that life can evolve under the current conditions and if physical consents had been different we would not be here to think about it.

I've got news for you. In a couple of billion years, when it runs out of hydrogen, the sun will expand itno a red giant and incinerate the earth. Earth doesn't collide with the sun because it is bound in orbit around it.

What you call God, may simply be what I call nature. I know that there are many things in the universe far more powerful than I am. But I don't believe in the supernatural. Frank Lloyd Wright, the architect, was on target when he said, "I believe in God, only I spell it Nature."
Peace.

You didn't have to include that for us Christians. I, for one, know demons believe in God. I say it all they time. They believe and tremble. That's why it's more about what you believe, not just in His existence but what Jesus Christ did, what He accomplished at the cross, His finished works.!

See what you started? you've already been called a name by someone who believes in God. Like I've said before..don't you just love seeing love for your fellow man in action from believers.
