I follow Jesus, for many reasons
After about 5 years of having no involvement in church at all, not really knowing what I believed, I had a sudden realization one night, that my life had been so much better when I had God in my life. I just suddenly knew that was the path I wanted to follow, and that I would find truth in the Bible.
I started reading and praying, and things got better and better. I've seen so much evidence of the Lord working in my life, and I've been able to overcome severe depression and drug addictions. My life is nothing like it was a few years ago, and I totally believe it's because of Jesus.
As you said about your faith, mine is very strong, and would be difficult to explain every aspect of why I believe. Christianity is more complex than people want to believe. I accept that Christians will always be laughed at, and many people will choose to only believe their ideas about brainwashing and such, and they will ignore the spiritual aspect of it. But that's life, and Jesus said it would be so. It doesn't bother me.
Thanks for your question.

I am a Christian because I know that no matter what I do it will never be good enough, because I have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. I therefore rest on Christ's salvation and try to live my life like He did.

properly, you of direction recognize better than maximum novices. extremely, in case you opt for to be solitary devoid of having worked with a coven, only one authentic "custom" is accessible to you... That of the eclectic Wiccan. in case you arent gaining understanding of a convention from a coven, then you fairly form of dont have the different selections than to forge your own course. the only traditions apart from the eclectic course would all require you to artwork with a coven, a minimum of till youd discovered the custom adequate to prepare on your own, that could take quite a few years. Scott Cunningham i a good start up, e book-sensible. only keep reading and waking your own course. Im confident youll locate some thing that works for you ultimately. -Scarlet

I am an atheist. I require evidence before I believe. I prefer to see the universe the way it really is rather than believe something false just because it sounds nicer.
I feel this way is the best way to get to the truth.

Ummm.... if the earth "gives us everything that we need" as you say, then there is no need for the sun and moon, right? That doesn't make sense because the earth is affected by both. We would not exist without the sun.
