I've seen this expression in the movie JFK (Joe Pesci's character says it), on The Simpsons, and most recently, on Will and Grace. Where did it come from, and what is the proper way to say it?

I was walking down quite a fairly busy street and I saw a handful of people walking in my direction. I was minding my own business when all of a sudden one of them (a man) said, "Give me all your money" and then just carried on walking on past me. I got a fright, as he said it loudly and a few of the other people looked at me, so they must have heard. Should I have told the police or just ignore him as a 'nutter?' I didn't dare look behind me at him.

We all have the choice to choose which way we live and who we serve? If you don't accept Christ as Lord, it isn't no skin off my back. I don't come to preach but to teach his words. Many I take it find it wrong for me to do that,even though we are on the spiritual and religious column.You are allowed to live how you want,but my religion we as Christains are to speak truth and thats why I say these things, not to stir trouble but to show love.

You can't prove faith,only believe in your heart and know..I come so that any who believe will be saved..It comes down to it, man either accepts the things of the Lord or dies in his sins. I come so no one has to go to a place of torment.We as Christians, arn't trying to make you hate us, we love you thats why we tell you all of this. I choose to step out on my faith and believe all men can be saved.

If so what is the religion? why did u convert? I m just asking, no special interest for me to convert though. I m a devoted muslim who has found peace in his religion. No offensive remarks, please. I respect all religions and I m no supporter of terrorism. Peace upon all.

In the recent film "Beowulf and Grendel" there is a brief scene where the Danish witch begins a reading of bones and then is interrupted.

I am curious as to how exactly is this done? What type of thing would the reader be looking for to get the message in question to interpret?

I am so angry about this thing with Mark Foley. Now he checks himself into rehab stating he has an alcohol problem - will that be his excuse for sending sexually explicit emails to teen boys???

Why is there no facts in your theory? Your facts always sounds something like this: "science says..., and this book this and that..., and billions of years...(as if some of u lived that time), ..." Isnt it because your theory is actualy a new religion? Yes, I believe the bible, and I call it my religion. You believe billions of years, so why dont you call it your religion?

Oh yes, did you know that 45% of scientist proved the evolution theory wrong, even Darwin said evolution is false, OUCH!!!

I intern under someone who fixes computers for a living. I believe that'd make me his apprentice.

I get paid, but only from clients he sends me to, otherwise my pay is lessons for doing this or that.

What is he, paying attention that master has a bad meaning nowadays. Mentor can as well, so I avoid both words.

Suggestions, or do I just use master, and explain why?
