I am so angry about this thing with Mark Foley. Now he checks himself into rehab stating he has an alcohol problem - will that be his excuse for sending sexually explicit emails to teen boys???
ARRGGHHH! And he was on the committee for Missing and Exploited Children.
(I know this doens't fit into the category, but this is where I post so here I ask)

daliaadel - Too bad he didn't try and get help BEFORE he was 'outed' If he wasn't, he would still be doing it....

elgil - I agree, we need to take those people who sat by and continued to let it happen to the carpet....

eitemad_eitemad - I would hope he would be punished, but as we know, those who are in Congress get away.
Examples - that Kennedy who drove drunk and on a sleep medication
That female who hit the Capitol Policeman

Yes it does...Alas, that is the world we live in today. The corrupt and evil perverseness that has taken over the world is mind-boggling to say the least. The scary part is the fact that it will only continue to get worse...

BTW he got caught. He was exposed. That is why he had to come forward, not because he was sorry. We all make mistakes, but I like to call 'em how I see 'em. Hopefully he'll get the help he needs.

If he is found guilty, he should pay the price. What I find almost as reprehensible is the timing of the story, only a month away from elections... sad, sad, sad.

The world is full of sick people. When they are caught, they will come up with an excuse as to why they have a problem. And hope that we will pity them and not prosecute them.

No excuse is acceptable for mentally abusing and targeting kids for "sick" fantasies. He'll get his. He needs much prayer and guidance. I'd forgive but not forget.

He should be punished according to the law if found guilty

Yes, it does make me angry. What about all those people who knew about his behavior and didn't do anything about it? I just hope he gets what he deserves.

If alcohol isn't his excuse, you can bet he'll come up with something else. They always do.

No, it doesn't make me angry. He is sick and he is brave enough to admit it and is seeking help. This is how I see it.
