KEY WORD= we were created equal. That still doesnt mean we ARE being treated as EQUAL. You are correct, faith helps us strengthen our bond with God for there is nothing that can keep a hold on you when you believe.

Yes to your question and to all the answers you received; and I add to that....Prayer! Talking to Jesus, and asking for more faith and to overcome our human weaknesses, is what God wants us to do. Being a true Christian, following Christ, is a lifelong and ongoing endeaver...we must work out our own salvation. But with Christ, we are free, and we can have the help of the Holy Spirt, and we can conquer evil in ourselves.

Yes, we all have power to conquer over evil.
Without Jesus, Mohammed, Ram or Moses, we still have power to remove evil.
We do not require prophets to remove evil from the society. We require common people to do so.

The second part of your statement is true.. your question though.. is not...
Evil is already conquered.. it is already told.. therefore it is not us that is the conquerer of evil.. it is God, through J.C...when JC died he went to hell and took away the curse, and the keys to death and hell from the devil. Evil was defeated....

we already have the power to conquer evil and so on, simply by faith in God, without jesus.
simply calling upon God himself, is quite sufficient.

Men are naturally equal. But you have to have Jesus to be more than a conqueror!
