It is not something new insulting to Islam by high ranking Catolic leaders while no same ranked Muslim has ever insulted to Christanity. And as I believe in Jesus as Quraan says, he always told ppl to be kind but nowaday his followers don't accomodate his words. But we (the muslims) never insult Jesus cause Quraan tell us to belive in Jesus and all messengers sent by God, it also preaches for us to love other messengers and respect them. This is the same thing that Jesus said to u (Christians). I mean to respect other religions. But why Pope insults Islam and Mohammad PBUH ?????

I have this professor who I really like and he's inspired me in so many ways. I want to thank him for it but I don't want him to think I am being insincere or trying to kiss his @ss. I am one of those people who says what they mean, and means what they say. So how can I express my gratitude without sounding “too grateful” and therefore insincere?

I mean in a relationship where trust seems to be the foundation, why if at all do you male/female lie about how many previous sexual partners you may have had? What fears do you have about telling the truth? Lets all be honest "none of your business" isn't what you would say to someone you love...so out with it! Also what emphasis do you think society places on women with less sexual partners aa opposed to more sexual partners?

I am a strong believe in past lives. I have had horrible ear infectuions my entire life. Nothing helps and they have made me deaf. I think i have really screwed up in a past life to be this way. I dont know how or why but I constantly feel like Ive been shot in my right mastoid.
Also I think that family, friends and lovers you have in htis life you knew in past lives.

When a person says words the wrong way, or it is taken in the wrong the way, we as Christians are taught that we must forgive that person, and forget about it, because our God is the God of Love and mercy, and He forgives us for our sins,to remember them no more, So why don`t muslims accept apologies, and show kindness, instead of hatred, and killing innocent people who had nothing to do with what the pope said, what kind of religion is that??????

How many of you believe that the US Government and the Public School System is desensitizing our children to immorality. They teach them that being homosexual, or getting an abortion is okay and its not OK to discriminate to immorality, otherwise reversing everything you have taught them over the years.

Is the school replacing and reteaching "family values" by bringing in Planned Parenthood or Pro-Gay activists into schools to teach them the so called "American Way".

This whole thing with the Muslims and the Pope. Here's aparagraph from a current article:
On Sunday, Benedict said he was "deeply sorry" over any hurt caused by his comments made in a speech last week, in which he quoted a medieval text characterizing some of the Prophet Muhammad's teachings as "evil and inhuman" and calling Islam a religion spread by the sword.

So, now Iran is egging these people on, and they're "treatening war against Christians and the West until Islam takes over the world." So how can they claim to be such a peaceful religion? Isn't that the pot calling the kettle black, gonna kill everyone who doesn't believe what they do? And why aren't any of the so called peaceful Muslims standing up to this? I just don't get it, bunch of hippocrites, maybe they should run for president..........Thanks for letting me vent.

The category is religion and spitiuality. so why do people insist on comming here to bash christians? I know some of us do some stupid stuff from time to time, but that doesn't make all of us idiots and radicals. 99.999% of christians are good hardworking people that go on day by day trying to be the best person they can be. Jesus tought love your enimies, love your neighbor as yourself, do unto others as you would have them do to you. If everybody lived by these christian teachings, we would achieve the world some of you supose we would achieve after the christians leave. I'm not saying that your opinions and beliefs are wrong, I'm just saying that if everyone would be more tolerant and open minded towards other religions and beliefs we might actually be able to get somewhere in this world.

Is this the beginning of a new type of world war based on the "crusades paradign" being escalated on a golbal scale?

Some would argue that the crusades have actually never ended and we have a really short term memory historically speaking.

Are we on the verge of these two dogmatic systems which are dependantly polarized flushing 10,000 years of civilization down the toilet?
