I'm predominantly a Healer, and most of my Magicke is focused on that . There's not really a name for what I do, as I've blended several traditions and my own intuition to form a unique blend over the years, with strong influences from Wicca and Native American beliefs [I happen to be part Navajo Indian].
The few actual spells I do, where I use conscious concentration are usually protective in nature, cleansing and guarding of personal space from negative influences. Very rarely I will do a spell for aid for a friend, either for Healing, or for (as an example) help finding employment.
Mostly my Healing comes with a high level of empathy and an ability to just sort of "know" when and where someone is hurting, and how to help them, through an almost Reikian energy awareness and manipulation, though I also mix that with massage and the laying on of hands. Sometimes I sense/ "see" auras and colors that aid me in knowing where the source of the problem may be, or what type of thing is going on.
I've found that when I try to control this ability it usually doesn't work, so over the years I've just kind of learned to "go with the flow" and follow my instincts.

Hubby practices sorcery. He has been doing it for a very long time & is an adept, i would have to say that he could be a master if he wanted to at any time, but he is cautious about the changes that it may bring upon him & what effect it would have on our relationship as a family. I practice several forms of magic including; theurgy (magic invoking the divine powers of gods) by using the runes of the elder FUThARK and thier galdur songs. I Also practice a form of shamanism called Seidr (which means seething) Basically it is a drum induced trance where i shake (shiver) and travel to the underworld to speak with the dead so i guess that makes it a combination of shamanism & necromancy. I also practice divination with the Runes as well. I am a Germanic Heathen, and work with the Disir (female ancestor spirits) Land Wights ( or devas as they are known by some) and the old Germanic Gods such as Wodan (Odin), Donar (Thor),Fro (Frey), Loki etc...

Earth Magik is probably the best name for the type of magik I preform. I have also done some shamanism and Runic divination.
Blessed Be.

The main form of magic that is practice is that of the Runes. The use of the magical symbols of the Norse peoples. Not only am I conversant with carving the mgical symbols, but I also use a form of rune magic known as Galdr, that is runic spells chanted in a specific fashion to bring about results.
I have also been known to use Summerian ceremonial magic on occasion as well as some Celtic but my main foucs in the Runes.

I practice folk magic. I use roots, herbs, stones, and other natural things to produce magic. The folk magic system I use is mainly Hoodoo and things I have learned from Cunninghams books. I am also a Vodouisant. I practice Haitian based Vodou. In Vodou I work the spirits of my ancestors and the lwa.

Over the years I've tried everything I encountered, in greater or lesser amounts, and depending on whether or not it worked. I am still exploring it and still trying to create a sort of 'grand unified theory' of magic. My own practice would be best described as the "stuff-I've-found-that-worked" type of magic...

Life in itself is magick. It matters not from where you channel your energy, but what your intent or purpose may be that matters.
My strength comes from all that is around me. From the earth beneath my feet to the air that I breath. From my ancestors to the spirits of the trees and rocks. And above all from my Creator, Great Spirit, who has given me this life to live for how ever long he wishes me to.
The best magick comes from love, compassion, understanding, it is truly the most powerful of all.
Blessed peace be with you my friend,
Aho,
Fenix

[[What type of magik do you use?]]
** Seidhr, which is Northern European 'shamanism'. A great deal more about this pre-Christian practice can be found by clicking on my avatar and following the links.
