You can tell the tree by it's fruit. You can tell whether Islam is of God...by its fruits. What are it's fruits? Suicide bombers...killing innocent women and children. Cutting off the heads and torturing the Christian and Jews. When they bomb a mosque, they have a parade and celebrate the killing of innocent people, all in the name of Allah!This, is of God? Absolutely not!
Have you head any muslims speak out 'against' the terrorists? No, because they either agree...or are afraid.

The Koran preaches that Islam must be spread with the sword. Simply put...Islam is of the DEVIL! It is of Satan! The problem is our muslim brothers have been decieved by the devil. The answer: Pray for them! Yes, pray for them, that God will open their eyes to the truth. The truth is: God IS love!
God doesn't need anyone to kill for him. He could destroy us all in the blink of an eye!
Where have all the good peaceful Muslim gone?

you see i think certainty of belief, leads to intolerance and sensitivity to any criticism. because if youre convinced your right, you dont seriously listen to any other view....because whats the point..youre certain they wont convince you.
now in my little quest to find out more about islam...i think the nub of it for me is to find out what is it about the faith of islam that has caused these people to become so adamant.
for me it cant be their holy book, because A: i know that ALL religions without exception are the creation of human minds B: ive read some of the koran, and although it is less boring than the bible, nothing in it struck me as something that was so sublime it could have come from the mind of god.
so what is the reason for this adamant faith? this is what i would like answers on.
could it be something to do with the fact that if you have your religion set up in such a way that law of the land, the politics, the media, ie everything is expected to defer to it,

A fetus is attatched to me. It is in my body. Therefore, it is mine to do with what I wish - it is merely a temporary extension of my being.

Where does it get rights? What section of our law books gives a fetus rights? Why doesn't the woman in whose body it is forming have rights? Do you think that 'pro-life = anti-abortion'? And, if so, doesn't 'anti-abortion = anti-womens' rights'? And when did a safe, legal medical procedure become trampling ground for Christian crusaders and a major politica platform?

Honestly would like opinions. To me, saying a fetus has rights is like saying my kidneys have rights. I'm interested in other people's thoughts.

I feel like Im interfaith, to me it seems that Buddhism and Christianity can be used together.
Buddha never preached that he was a god, and some sects never talk of god, heven, hell, and so on...so I use his teachings as a moral way of life, but rather, Jesus Christ is the son of god to me.
Heven is Nirvana
Hell is reincarnation
what do u think? Any other Buddhist Christians? I'd like to kno more about your thoughts on this.

White T-Shirts, jeans, socks, and Adidas/Jordan slippers.....who started that fad, and whyis it so popular? I go to a small HBCU, and it seems 99.99% of the males here wear that....three years ago, nobody was wearing that....does anybody know who started it and why it caught on? My boyfriend and I have been together for about 2 months. He had this ex girlfriend who lied about her age and when he found out her true age he broke up with her. I don't think she's over him despite all the crap she talks about him. I know that this girl is involved in wicca and I fear that she might do something to break us up. I have wiccan friends and I know that most Wiccans don't cast spells, but there are a few that do. I was dating a brother of a Wiccan friend like 2 years before and when we broke up, I haven't had a steady relationship since. I thought nothing of it until I was informed by somebody that there is a certain spell that causes a person to have unsteady relationships. Does it sound like a possibility or am I just being overly paranoid.
