My boyfriend and I have been together for about 2 months. He had this ex girlfriend who lied about her age and when he found out her true age he broke up with her. I don't think she's over him despite all the crap she talks about him. I know that this girl is involved in wicca and I fear that she might do something to break us up. I have wiccan friends and I know that most Wiccans don't cast spells, but there are a few that do. I was dating a brother of a Wiccan friend like 2 years before and when we broke up, I haven't had a steady relationship since. I thought nothing of it until I was informed by somebody that there is a certain spell that causes a person to have unsteady relationships. Does it sound like a possibility or am I just being overly paranoid.

Sometimes it is the BELIEF in curses and hexes that makes them seem to "work". A belief in the hex may cause a person to have a psychosomatic illness in the form of say , headaches for instance. Once the person realizes this, they may find their headaches go away.

Sometimes an occultist will take advantage of a situation, and claim to be the cause of someone's misfortune. Example: someone dies, the occultist will claim they had put a hex on the person and caused it, even though they never did. People will believe it though, and fear the occultist has some kind of power. Perhaps this person told your mom she put a curse on her and took credit for something bad that happened anywa. Some occultists call this "glamor" or "lesser black magic". What it really is, is just plain lying.

If you're going through a "bad patch", don't worry. These things happen to everybody. Sometimes it's how we liv our lives. I know of one man who thought he had bad luck, because he was always in trouble, and al his friends and assciates dies. It was John Dillinger! If he had lived his life different he wouldn't have had "bad luck".

Just read about the lives of some of the "famous" occultists, and see if they could make things work: http://usminc.org/famous.html

The Wiccans you mention probably read their books. The blind teaching the blind. They can't make it work either.

Silver Ravenwolf has written close to a dozen books on the subject of "The Craft", and claims she has been studying it since about 1969, which is almost as long as I’ve been alive. She has written a book on how to cast money spells, and includes a chapter on how to do so in her Teen Witch book. But the thing is, she doesn't particularly sound all that prosperous herself. Ravenwolf writes,

" For years I couldn't afford to go to a hair stylist (still can't, it's shop and chop for me). I got pretty good at stying my own hair from looking at magazine pictures" [SOURCE: Teen Witch, Llewellyn Publications, 2003 edition, page 145]

She's so poor she can't go to the beauty parlor...yet she wrote a book on prosperity spells!

Anyone who knows Jesus doesn't have to be afraid of spells. I get emails from people saying I've been cursed, but I'm fine. In fact this has probably been the best year ever.

Your problem could be your looking for a "relationship" instead of marriage. You can meet nice people at church.

Not good... I never knew if witch craft spells worked, but if what your saying is true, it's more than just coincidental. That was really wrong of you to wish something bad like that on someone else, especially not knowing what could happen, maybe by the time this girl's boyfriend is done with her she'll be so disfigured she will be truly ugly. You dabbled in something that you have not control over. Weather it's the spell or not, you should do something to try and fix things and I wouldn't waste time.

Many (most?) Wiccans do cast spells.

However, the Wiccan Rede (the guiding principle that Wiccans follow) states, "An it harm none, do as ye will". The type of spell that you describe - causing someone to have unsteady relationships - would be against the ethics of a Wiccan.

Now, there are folks out there who call themselves "Wiccan" who don't have the slightest clue what Wicca actually IS, they just think it's a "kewl" name to call themselves and that it somehow "validates" their desire for power or spells. Based on just the little bit that you've said about her here (lying about her age, talking crap about him), I would tend to put her in this category, because both of those actions violate the Rede.

Is it possible she's done a spell? Yes. Is she Wiccan? No. You might want to talk to your Wiccan friends about a Protection spell for you.

Technically, it's possible. Statistically, it's improbable.

As some of the others have said, most curses/hexes work best when they have the "cooperation" of the victim. Simply put, you see the "self-fulfilling prophecy" going on - anything that could vaguely be attributed to the curse gets attributed to the curse, and sooner or later, you're jumping at shadows.

Whether or not she did it, or whether or not she was powerful enough to actually pull something like this off? Can't really tell. But there's several things you can do.

First is, don't worry about it. Worrying about it, obsessing about it, will only make things worse.

Secondly, if there's something that makes you feel better (rabbit foot, prayers, etc.), go ahead and do it. Fight fire with fire, so to speak. Anything to reinforce your own belief that this other girl is powerless to hurt your relationship. I hate to rip off Harry Potter, but Love is magic in its own right.

Third, do a little bit of introspection. Take a look at those failed relationships over the past two years, do a little soul-searching, and see if you can discern any reasoning for them. Then, do what you can to prevent them from happening again, going after the root cause.

Make yourself invincible, and you'll be golden.

You can have a spell cast on you but you have believe something will happen. If you don't believe nothing will happen. You believe in order for it to have an effect on you! A true wiccan will not cast spell to hurt another person. that is against the wiccan rede, "An it harm none, do what you will" No one have any power over you but you (and maybe your parents..lol) Forget about her and move on with your life. You are letting the possibility of a spell against you dictate your life. Do some meditation, relax, and put it out of your mind.

Overly paranoid. True Wiccans do not cast spells, not of that sort anyway. You have been watching too much TV. The wiccan religion is about spirituality, not revengefull acts on ex-lovers. There is no "dark side", only those that dont understand will make it seem that way. Rest assured, you will not be turned into a toad.

It's possible, but it would be pretty damned stupid. For starters, Wiccans believe in something called the Rule of Three, which means that whatever you do comes back to you 3-fold. 2nd, just casting a spell doesn't necessarily mean anything is going to happen. It's like praying: just because you pray for something doesn't mean you will get it. It's more likely that you just have bad taste in men. No offense... but it happens.

Bright blessings and better luck next time in the guy department!!

True Wiccans, or even Witches don't generally cast spells on others without their knowledge. If this person does or has cast a spell on you, the chances of it working are very slim. It goes against karmic law. If you have had relationship troubles, join the club! We all do, and have many break ups before finding so-called mr/s right. And, even that doesn't always work out!

Call on the Brotherhood of White Light to surround you in a circle of white light protection then project the same to all those around you!

The ones you love, the ones you care for, the ones you know, even the ones you don't know!

This is more powerful than even I know.

They are sometimes referred to as the Great White Brotherhood!

Their name has nothing to do with race or colour. Most Native American's know of this very well.

Have fun but be safe!

it's possible. but it's not like the movies. It would just make things difficult and you should treat it the same as if it were not a spell and use intelligent ways to overcome it. The reason its not like the movies is because evil only has as much power as you let it have. It thrives on fear.

So, don't worry about it, and don't turn to a "good" witch to "overcome" the spell. Just stay away from witchcraft and pray to God.
