I've been to three different countries in Europe (I'm from the U.S.A by the way) and all three were fantastic! They were France, Switzerland, and Italy. They each had unique and pleasant things to offer.....but I would have to say I liked Italy best. It had everything I ever dreamed of...I would elaborate but I'm leaving for a cook-out!

Have a good day...

My favorite is Spain away from the touristy coastal areas. They have loads of national parks which have beautiful scenery, wonderful buildings in an array of cities...Seville, Granada, Madrid Barcellona, to name but a few. Their culture is great too, with their romarias and fiestas and the people are warm and friendly.......that is why I've chosen to live here although I'm from the UK.

Italy. I love the entire country and like to visit all regions as I believe that the people, the culture, the history and the landscape of the place are truly beautiful. I'm never disapointed when I'm there. It lifts my spirits.

Sweden.
It's clean and it feels safe. For example, I've been on several undergrounds (London, Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, etc) but felt safest on the Stockholm one.
The people are friendly & helpful. They also speak excellent English, which is a bonus for me! :o)

Spain. My sister and her family moved there and I did'nt visit for 3 years cos I thought it was too touristy. When I finally did visit, the scenery took my breath away. It's nick-named "God's own country" and now I love visiting
