Who was spanked growing up and how?
I saw a question regarding spanking this morning. I am totally against spanking. but it got me to thinking about growing up in the 1960's when it was an acceptable form of punishment. I had to lay over a bed and get spanked on the bare behind with a belt. I am curious to know if there were others punished in this way, especially people over 40

I will be ending my physiotherapy treatments next week, and have been going there for about 3 days a week for 8 months. Is it appropriate to give them a thank you card on my last visit? If so, who should I give it to and who should I write it to...there were about four different physiotherapists working with me during these 8 months. Should I just write "To the staff"? Or is a thank you card not even necessary?

i was at the psychiatrist and when we were talking he mentioned that my hair looks greasy. Was that rude? Ya i didnt wash it cause i've been depressed lately and dont wash my hair as often, but do you think that was rude of him to say that or was it just because he wanted to ask me if i was neglecting my personal hygiene because of my depression?

Since the various versions disagree on some things, they can't all be correct. That's logically impossible.

I am thinking about going to TX were I may or may not have warrants for bad checks and I have had a dream were I am at my dad's house and we are having a good time, but then the cops show up and I go to jail. Ask yourself this: what would happen if the 1st was ever overturned and organized prayer was brought into public school?

These would eventually happen:

A Catholic teacher tells a class that the Catholic Church is the only One True Church - everyone else goes to hell.
A Methodist teacher prays for people to learn to accept gay people and let them marry.
A Wiccan teacher leads an invocation to the Goddess.
A Baptist teacher tells the class that all Catholics are going to hell for following the False Prophet (the pope)
A Muslim teacher reads a prayer from the Quran.
An Atheist teacher teaches the class that Jesus is a myth.


Theists would go APE-****!


To any religious person who wants the 1st Amendment overturned to get prayer in schools or to create a Christian nation, all I have to say to you is this:

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR.

About the only safe people would be the agnostics. We’d get some popcorn and beer, sit back, and watch everyone try to kill each other.
