If you used critical reasoning skill, you wouldn't have posted this question.
1) You would have known that you do not know most black people, and therefore cannot speak on their behalf.
Why do some queer people oppress other queer people?

Yeah.. ya wrong on this one dude. It's not just blacks. To really make that statement conclusively, you'd have to do a survey and hope that people answer truthfully.
The story with bi- and homo-sexuals is that it is just so different from the ordinary. I have a feeling that many of us who say we do not mind gays and bis would not jump up and hit the ceiling if our kids turned out to be gay. Think about it. But I'm not knocking anyone here; I'm just saying that it is a tough issue for many people -- but we are struggling with it.

Unfortunately, I don't think hatred of bi's, gays and lesbians is limited to the black race. It is pretty much across the board. After all, who is passing anti-gay legislation.
On the other hand, many blacks are christian and unfortunately their pastors/preaches/ministers/hat emongers encourage marginalization of anyone who thinks or acts differently than them.

So how did you come to this conclusion then?
I'm black and i have no problem with bis, gays and lesbians. I've had gay guys show an interest in me and i've always politely told them i'm straight. As far as I'm concerned everybody is free to do their own thing and as long it isn't hurting me, who am i to judge?

Well, I'm black and I LOVE Gays...because I am gay, and so are many other blacks. And guess what else? My family and friends, most of whom are black and straight, love me and have no problem with gays in general.

have you polled every single black person in the world, and then come to this conclusion? then don't generalize. unfortunately many people hate bisexuals, lesbians, and gays, even though they shouldn't.

They aren't been polite about the fact that they know there's something not quite right about the gays, lesbians and bisexuals.

I agree with car because I know lots and lots of whites that dis like gays and so on.. I for one don't mind lesbians but gay men are just sick to me. And yes I know that they are born that way. But I have the right to let them know that I am not gay in any way I feel needed.
