No, this whole speech thing was just more silliness.

The American stance in our occupation of the middle east is the furthest thing from anything christian.

A messenger of Satan would be much more qualified to give any remarks on this abomination of all that is good.

I don't think that is what he apologized for. I think he apologized for the upset that was caused after people took a quotation out of context in his speech. He didn't say anything that was inaccurate or that needed an apology. He is sorry that his speech led to people being upset.
