What is the point of missionaries. All they do is travel to other places and tell people what to believe in. I don't think people should be told what to believe in. Hearing: If you don't believe in God, youre going to hell isnt too comforting. It really puts pressure on you. And its not like if a missionary from a muslim religion told a Christian to believe in his God, because he knows for a fact that his god is the one REAL God, I doubt a Christian would be too happy.

When she's not playing Islamic radio, she's in the front yard in her scarf smoking. The smoke gets in my window. What can I do, without bringing the wrath of Allah down upon me? Thanx.

Where can I go to get ordained as some sort of reverend or minister or whatever online for free? Preferably without having to wait around or study? I'd like a wide variety of religions, if possible. And thank you!

I was brought up as a christian, when I was younger I was way into it because that's what I was tought. I realize now that every culture has their own take on religion. I don't wanna sound like I think I'm too smart for religion, but I think it's foolish to believe something just because that sounded like a good religion to your parents. Why should other cultures be punished for worshiping "false" gods. To them they are real, they are simply being loyal to what they were tought. Does anyone else find these things strange????

The was a man who was killed tragically in an auto accident at a young age.

Prior to this he had been very judgemental to people who had physical disabilties that were in his life and called them in perfect. He even went as far as to say "the perfect man has to have the perfect woman". He had married and had 2 kids his wife had developed cancer after marriage and he had not offered her love or emotional support. He was off doing his thing and looking good on paper volunteering his time for others with a sick wife at home.

Do you think his death is ironic at a very young age in the peak of fitness? Do you think it is an example of Karma or gods will?

I feel bad that this happened to him, but struggle with this question. I feel that if I had done this same thing I would have been punished. I feel that I am constantly being taught lessions in compassion and empathy. That does not involve leaving the land of the living.

What do you think? Please reflect on this.

It is a common thing in other countries, many people don't give it a second thought. Shame appears to be a relatively new invention. Why is everyone so uptight about the human body? I mean, it only comes in two different models. There are variations in the styles, sizes, colors, etc, but the basic components are all the same.

You know, the rules that the godders always insist on:

- God doesn't interfere with anyone's free will. (This would explain everything from Hitler to the recent slump in sales of Ford cars.)

- God doesn't *want* to consign anyone to eternity in hell, but if people disobey his laws or refuse to believe in him, then he can't do anything about it. His hands are tied. (A deity in bondage -- now there's a mental image for ya.)

- God will never destroy the earth in a flood again. He promised. (The people of New Orleans might beg to differ.)

Feel free to add your own favorite examples of the deity's inscrutable rules.

If Christians adhere to the Ten Commandments, why do I see them using "Calvin" praying stickers on their cars? Don't they know those images were stolen from Bill Waterson, who never granted use for Calvin (an atheist mind you) to be put on merchandise? This is a clear violation of the Fifth Commandment brought by Moses to the chosen people directly from God Himself who etched them in the stone tablets according to the bible and were kept in the Ark of the Covenant in the Holy of Holies in the Temple in Jerusalem.

Are Christians okay with this theft?

This seems highly hypocritical to say the least.

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed." --Albert Einstein, quoted on pg. 289 of Adventures of a Mathematician, by S. M. Ulam(Charles Scribner's Sons, New York, 1976).

why does our lord and creator do such horrible things like cause babies to have cancer or let pedophiles rape young defenseless children? If he is a kind and omnipotent then why does he let these things happen?

And thats the truth except like ELVIS perhaps the KING of KINGS actually is IT I IV CUT in times new roman font. And Queen of england wants to hold onto the country on top of the world.

Is that statement basically signing My death warrant? Or would America consider Me a rebell like they were at one time?
