What happens to us, when we realize, we are not the Center of the Universe?

'Cause, yeah, you know. In about a month, Adderastros.com will be back up and running again, and I was thinking, well, you know. The "Q and A" format isn't quite suited for debate. So many people have posted statements that kinda gripe about the fact that people just say such off the wall things and then won't stand and deliver afterwards.

On the one hand, it's not their fault. This isn't really the right venue for that sort of thing. I do it all the time. I was just thinking that, hey! Wouldn't it be great if there were a debate forum out here for this sort of thing? Well, in about a month, I'm going to have one!!!! We'll even have like actual debates where the guys'll debate and one of em' wins!!!!

I'll need to figure out a list of rules of engagement that is so airtight it alone,ll practically decide the winner (that way noone will accuse anyone of being biased). I mean, how hard could it be, right?

So, would you like to debate this topic in my NEW forum?

As you might see, I enjoy the outer space. The mystery behind it, and the fact that we're such a small part of it, I think it's really neat to think about.

Anyway, for those who are religious, why do you think God/Allah/etc. chose this planet/or made this planet perfect for living conditions instead of one of the other 8?

I mean, if a highly moral person rejects the idea of God and believes himself/herself able to reconcile the goodness of Jesus with mere man, then why horoscopes- unless there is still a deep yearning for a wisdom that transcends our human understanding?

Alot of people say oh everybody sin,but thats of course a lie,because we dont know everybody we only know who we have come in contact with,and in saying that yes the bible does say everyperson has sinned be it one way or another,but Does not say everyone continues to sin after they have been born again.

My understanding is that the ruling of 'death for apostasy' comes from the time of Mohammed but the people it refered to had not only left Islam; they had plotted against the Prophet. Therefore the death sentence was due to their treachory and not their change in religious belief. I have attached a link about the Abdul Rahman case in Afghanistan as illustration but there have been cases in other countries.
