ALL Christians are supposed to be Evangelical -- which means spreading the Good News that Jesus Christ came into the world.

Evangelical Protestant Christians (which I am) believe Catholics (which I used to be) are mislead by the Vatican. It's a very, very sad thing. There's much debate as to whether or not Catholics are even saved; I'll leave that up to Jesus to decide.

Peace.

When Constantine wanted more power he united the pagan forms of worship with christianity. This became the Roman Catholic church. The bible warns of leaven contaminating the entire lump. Roman Catholism is contaminated by pagan rituals like worshiping idols and praying to saints, when the bible says there is only one mediator between God and man,... the man Christ Jesus. They also have priests ruling over the laity . The bible says God hates Nicolaitians ( power over the laity). These practices have corrupted the protestant churches where they have one pastor taking the role of a priest. True christianity is supposed to be all coming together and each one sharing. 1 Corinthians 14: 26. The Roman catholics also persecuted and killed the true christians throughout history. They match the description of the great spiritual whore of revelations.

I think that most Catholics don't have a desire to read God's Word on a regular basis so that they can understand Him better, and build a personal relationship with God. I think most Catholics are dependant on their priests and live their relationship with God through a priest.

I know people who claim to be catholic who do and don't obey the Bible. In my mind there is a difference between the two. The ones who do whatever they want and go to confession I have a hard time seeing as truly loving God, but the ones who try to obey his commands I think truly do love him.

They have perverted Christianity. A priest can't forgive your sin any more than you can forgive someone else's sin for he is just a man. And whose idea was it to start praying to Mary instead of Jesus? I don't recall the Bible referring to her as a deity. You confess your sins by praying directly to Jesus for forgiveness. That is His command. It seems the Catholic church is all about controlling the congregation, limiting their knowledge of scripture so that they won't see this truth, and convincing them that they have to partake in ridiculous ritualistic ceremonies if they want to go to Heaven. This is all contrary to what the scripture says.

Catholics are great christians. They are pro-life, pro-jesus, and pro-family. Wonderful people of the highest esteem. The Catholic Church is wonderful!

There are about 25,000 protestant religions today. And one catholic church, that was founded 2000 years ago.

All religons tell the truth..as they see it...based on biblical interputation.

That the Catholic Church is the whore of Babylon. That's what they told me in Christian High School. I didn't believe them and married a Catholic.

and not each and every denomination that calls itself "Evangelical" is slender minded. The Evangelical Lutheran Church is the greater liberal of the two Lutheran divisions, greater accepting, much less strict than the Missouri Synod Lutherans.

Define for me the difference. Do they not both believe in Jesus and God? Do they not both attend services? Do they not both believe in the Golden Rule?
