The person who said he was only "33". Well that would have raised a lot of suspicion for a man in those days. A man in those days would not have waited so long to get married. He would have probably been married for at least 10 years by the time he was 33. All this does not mean he was or wasnt married. Also, to all those who say the bible states he wasnt married can you please provide a reference/quote.

Married? Because it requires a deviation from the teachings of the church. When someone is raised on a specific belief system starting at an early age, the system becomes an integral part of both the conscious and subconscious. Breaking from that system is a challenge to what they know and creates emotional discomfort.

It isn't difficult to believe he could be married, but I don't believe that that was his role in his short mortality. After all, he died at 33.

I am an atheist.

I beleive Jesus was a real person, really walked and talked and breathed. I also know that, acccording to Jewish law, he HAD TO be married..... He is referred to in the Bible as Rabbi Jesus. Look up jewish rabbinical law - it was a requirement that a rabbi be married, as he was expected to dispense marital advice. Therefore, Jesus was marrried if he was a rabbi. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

The Church made Jesus a non-sexual individual, without a wife or children. But why does Peter ask why Jesus love Mary more than the others?? Was Jesus and Mary just having premarital sex???? I think not - thats a sin....
