THIRTEEN WAYS OF LOOKING AT THE KITCHEN SINK
by miraclewhip

#1 Ichi in His Underpants

I heard a man name Ichi say,
He embraced the ungod,
was startled and thrilled by his very nothingness one day,
standing in his underpants in the kitchen--
not the ungod in his underpants in the kitchen mind you--
but Ichi, himself, underpants-clad, steaming coffee cup in hand.

They say, to feel superior to folk, one might picture them in their underpants,
But I feel no superiority to Ichi, not even when I see him--Ichi--there as he is, and will be,
without so much as a loincloth to hide behind,
naked and laid bare
beneath the Word of him with whom we'll have to do.
All of us.

I tremble for Ichi with a fear he has not yet come to know,
or has carelessly discarded, rid himself of,
with the used coffee grounds,
with yesterday's paper,
with the outmoded idea of the Being called Love.

It talked about seven scenerios in which life could become extinct on Earth.

Number 5 was the Super-Volcano, Yellowstone is one those that could change the landscape of the country and bring on a new ice age.

Number 4 the asteroid. The ironic thing with asteroids is they are death dealers (death of the the dinosaurs) and life givers (the death of the dinosaurs allowed us to evolve)

Number 3 is Nuclear War, still a threat. Just because the cold war is over, doesn't mean the US and Russia still have thousands of nukes pointed at each other.

Number 2 is plague, bird flu, some super virus. Humans can now make viruses far more deadly than anything nature could cook up.

Number 1 is global warming. All the scientists in the world believes this is the greatest threat to our survival. Notice how the top three where manmade events. It seems that the biggest threat to our own survival is ourselves. Even though we may be intelligent, our instincts are getting in the way.

Where do babies go? They don't believe in God due to the fact that there not exposed to any religion. How about a five year old who lives in a village in the middle of no where with his fellow people. They have no clue about any other religion except their own. He doesn't know about God [Jehovah]. Where does he go? Not every Christian Glorifies God the whole time period after they get saved. None of them are "Christ-like". Where do they go.

Allah is the pagan god of the Arabs, so to say hes the same god is a lie, thats like saying Zues the Greek god is trhe same god, the greeks just call him zues, or that Budda is the same god its just that in asia they pronounnce God as budda NO!!!!!!, Allah is a moon god. (KEEP IN MIND WHEN I REFER TO ALLAH AS GOD IM SAYING THAT BECAUSE, THATS WHAT HES REFERED AS, BUT ALLAH IS ONLY A IDOL). allah is a idol that was kept in a temple called a kabba in Mecca, and that temple still stands today, and if your a muslim you must visit this temple on a pilgramge called a Hage. and if your really luck you can kiss this IDOL!!!! a large black stone. THATS WHAT THEY PRAY TO 7 TIMES A DAY A BLACK STONE, NOT GOD. I CALL UPON THE TRUE BELIVERS OF OUR LORD GOD TO UNITE AND DESTORY THIS PAGAN CITY AND ITS PAGAN TEMPLE AND THEIR PAGAN GOD!!!!!!!

I've played games like Hitman, Halo, Brothers in Arms, etc..etc, that involve killing people and general violence. Is this a sin? I've heard even thinking of it is a sin, but I know games and real life couldn't get any more different from each other, and I couldn't kill anybody in real life.

Again, I'm asking this to ALL religions to gain insight. Is faith the only way to base your beliefs on, or do you need proof? Why or why shouldn't one be open-minded to all (this is the question I really want to hit on No two word answers, please explain. Here's my last question I asked. This is kind of a follow up to the last one I asked because I didn't quite get everything I was looking for.
