sweep the glass and move on with your life, breaking things has nothing to do with luck!

According to superstitious beliefs, if you break a mirror that will bring you 7 years of bad luck. If you break a glass, you need to break another breakable object like a glass, plate, or bottle to neutralize the bad lack. It doesn't really say how many years you'll have bad luck. If you broke a glass and your brother broke another then you've neutralized the bad luck.

The only bad thing about the broken glass is that when mom finds out she is going to be mad...lol the other bad thing is you have one less then you did before you broke the glass...bad luck is if you break a mirror that is if you believe...sweep then vaccum put it to low floor so it will pick up then put the setting back to normal...

yes, it is considered to be a bad sign, but in our culture we usually say immediately "for fortune" after somebody breaks the glass - like trying to convert bad luck into good luck:)
don't think abt it too much. if u start thinking 'oh, something bad is going to happen', it definitely will.
abt removing glass safely... no original ideas... just broom, protective gloves and a lot of concentration.

Broken glass is what it is. You should pay attention to it because it can cut you. If you're really superstitious, then it's a broken hand mirror that will bring you bad luck: simple broken glass has no effect.

well.... i suppose if you're superstitious then it could mean bad luck, but if you just refuse to believe in that stuff, you'll be fine, thats what i do. never had any problems..... you could use a vacuum to get it off the floor, or maybe some sticky tape, (just kinda dab it around to get the little slivers up

I think that bad luck only applies if you break a mirror

if you beleive in it. I might be true. but I dont think its true.
and the big piecies of glass must be picked with a dust pan and broom.
little pieces that you might not see could be picked with a wet towle.
