Why would they? If a lesbian hooked up with a married woman, wouldn't that simply say that the married women wasn't heterosexual to begin with?
It's not like we actively recruit, as opposed to popular belief.
No, Gay marriage posses NO THREAT to "traditional" marriages or other derivations unless those derivations include homosexuals.
Married, monogomous gays/lesbians would NO LONGER be a threat to anyone. A previous poster ranted on about AIDS/HIV infections, but if two committed, monogomous gays married, they would no longer be a threat in such a maner because they would no longer being having sex outside their relationship, at least that's how marriages are supposed to work.
(But we see this doesn't work all that well for straights either...so, I guess that point is mute)
Also opposite to popular opinion, GAYS ARE JUST AS ABLE TO PROCREATE AS HETEROS.
Wanna test that theory?
Here ya go, I DARE you to tell my TEENAGE son that because his mother is a lesbian that its impossible that he exists...then prove it.
Gays and lesbians are raising BIOLOGICAL chidren at an ever increasing rate.
Guess what? It's also not true that ALL heteros are able to procreate, so that assumption can be thrown out the window.
On the religious side, there actually are examples of same sex marriages in the Bible!
Don't believe me, I'll give you links for passages if you ask for them...I'm not going to go search them out right now.
So, let's just stop all the non-sence, realize that gay marriage is actually GOOD for society and stop all the whining.

Bob Jones University, a leading college for pastor training, only recently lifted their ban on interracial marriages. And the only reason that happened is because the old leader (Bob Jones III) died and his son took over and loosened the rules at least a little bit.
I went to this college for 3 days with my youth pastor a few years back and it was like a prison there. You couldn't even leave campus unless you had an approved job or were escorted by a senior student. Boys and girls could only hold hands in specified locations.
So for these right wing groups and Christian groups to say that it will ruin anything is in THEIR best interests, NOT the best interests of the country.

I think, (and just remember it's what I think it's an opinion) that marriage is a word that describes a man and a woman joining together. People are trying to change the meaning of the word marriage. In that way it may be a threat. If you're underlying the meaning of the very word I think that it's getting a little too deep. In this way I believe it is a threat. If we change what marriage is , is it really marriage anymore? Why bother? Can't people come up with another separate word?
As far as polygamy goes I don't think it's gonna happen.

No, why? My partner and I are in a monogomous relationship for the past 3 years. Before that we were in 5 and 13 year relationship respectively. Why in the world do you think that homosexuals f*ck around more than straights? Excuse me, but who has f*cked up and made a joke of the traditional marraige anyway? Wasn't us, we're not even allowed to get married! Oh yes, it is the heterosexuals...
