I guess they call it Social Anxiety Disorder these days, but it is just shyness to me. I am always afraid and downright shaking in social situations, so I just sort of hide in a corner. I have heard that people think I am a snob because of this. Does this happen to any of you? Is your shyness interpreted as snobbiness? Do people badmouth you because of it?

I used to identify as Christian so no insult intended. I just wonder if I'm the only one who thinls it's strange that those who love Jesus aren't interested in Judaism at all. I don't know if Jesus really meant for a new religion to form. Please no bible quotes. haha

Okay for starters Agnosticism is the philosophical view that the value of certain claims as truth—particularly theological claims regarding the existence of God, gods, or deities—are unknown, inherently unknowable, or incoherent, and therefore, irrelevant to life (Wikipedia).

I believe I'm a good person. I'm never intentionally mean to someone, I drink but never to the point I've run across a sporting field naked, I believe you can follow whatever faith you choose, be with whomever you want regardless of their sex and couldn't care less what colour you are...why is it then, that according to most religions I'm going to hell just because I won't say I believe in God?

If there's a God out there? Great! Allah? Fantastic! Vishnu? Brilliant! Why though, when I'm standing at the pearly gates is St Peter handing the bathroom keys to anybody who repents on their deathbed and says the magic words "I believe in God"? And I'm hustled down the side stairs like an unwelcome in-law?

It's just a fake religon anyway. The terrorits would be none. Because all Islamic people are terrorits. Thats how it's seems to be anyway. You say it's people that cause wars, not god (yahweh, allah, jesus, satan or whoever your god is). Fair enough.
If god is as perfect as you claim, didn't he anticipate that people would use his name to commit atrocities? (the inquisition, 9/11, etc.)
What kind of a loving god would purposely allow such ambiguity on his poor, poor subjects?
I'm sure he knew it would result in me and millions of people like myself who are left confused, wishing we could believe in something but can't find anything worth believing in?
The only conclusion I can logically come to is that god is cruel, and far from perfect.

I used to sing a song in church with a friend of mine but now I can't think of the name of the song or who originally sang it...=/

I want to say the name is something like "He threw the clay away."

I know a cpl of the lyrics are "he ___and made me" and I know the word "mold" is used as well, but I can't remember anything else. I know its a slow song if that helps. I know that's not a lot to go on, but any info would be greatly appreciative...=)

To me, it sounds a bit like a fairy tale...We "brain storm" our children to believe in after life etc. Personally, I think once your life is over, its over. Things like the tooth fairy , santa Clause and "happily ever after life" does not exist. How can people believe in something there is no proof off?
