i wish i could just let everybody know about myself but, too many are too old-fashioned and don't want to know about it. i am not trying to press homosexuality on anybody but, too many people don't understand it.

I don't think homosexuality will ever be understood and completely accepted. It's sad that the world is so close-minded. I don't get why people care what other people are doing, when it doesn't hurt them or affect their lives. I hope that everything will be smoothed out someday though.

Nobody can understand anyone else regardless of sexual orientation until they live as that person. Stereotypes will persist because they allow people to categorise. Humans have this obsession with labelling things. Some steretypes are positive some are negative. Would you be happy if the negative stereotypes went away only leaving the good ones? It's still stereotyping you though.

You don't have to press homosexuality on anybody..just be who you are...your own life really is your personal business...a lot of people will never understand homosexuality..they are the ones with the problem ..not you.

Nope, and I say that because the world becomes slightly more accepting to differences about every 100 years. As you can see, blacks, women, Asians, Native Americans, etc are still being treated unfairly and as second class citizens.

Live your life and be who you are but always remember to be a good person. Don't let all this negativity run your life as some straight people do regarding sexuality.

The best you can do is not worry about those who don't want to hear it, teach others about the issues if they are willing to listen, and life your life as best you know how. That's all anyone can do.
If you live your life the way others tell you you should, you will never be happy.

Straight people accept me. Just as long as I don't mention my bf. They then suddenly change the topic. Guess they still carry stereotypes of us.
