I think Jesus is the messenger of God, who taught us about the Holy Spirit. You are right about the experience being part of the belief.

I wouldn't want to prove God's existence....he/she does that everyday in everyone's life. It's up to us to notice or not notice the obvious.

As you say, you can not prove that god exists, so how do you 'know'? You don't, you just believe that. You are entitled to believe, but not assert.
What are these miracles you speak of? Was it when he intervened to save thousands from the Tsunami? When he cured the pandemics in Africa? Diverted Hurricane Katrina? Brought peace to the middle east? Or any other useful stuff I must have missed?

wrong... tell me the holy spirit lives in every believer, don't most people kill the holy spirit by the way they live their life

is that part of the question or are you trying to form your own answer. Jesus is not the Living God, Jesus is the Living Word.

Don't be ridiculous, Jesus is Jesus the son of god, Jehovah (Yahweh) is the almighty god. If you want proof he exists go and look in the bible. Moses actually spoke to him and so a did a few others. Jesus is alive and is waiting to bring this system to it's end, all he is waiting for is his father to give the word and it's all over for most of man kind.If you are going to say Jesus said: 'for I and my Father are one and the same' he didn't mean physically he meant mentally,

Here we go again..

Look, lets spin this around, if I was to say (JUST as legitimately) a question saying 'I know there is no god and jesus was just a misguided human' - how would that make you feel?

Pretty offended, right? Because I am taking a passive aggressive stance on what I believe and pushing it in front of you, regardless of whether you want to hear it or not... just like you are doing here.

Believe what you want, take comfort in how right you THINK you are (because, as you say, its based only on a feeling rather than proof) but stop going public to push it in peoples faces.

I beleive he was just a messenger in the service of god like all the other prophets, yes I beleive he was born through the will of god and preformed miracles through gods power..but I don't think he is a living god since gods presence is always around us

I think you are deluded.

There are those who think that life is nothing left to chance
A host of holy horrors to direct our aimless dance.

A planet of playthings,
We dance on the strings
Of powers we cannot perceive.
"The stars aren't aligned
Or the gods are malign"
Blame is better to give than receive.

You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill
I will choose a path that's clear
I will choose free will.

There are those who think that they were dealt a losing hand,
The cards were stacked against them
They weren't born in lotus land.

All preordained
A prisoner in chains
A victim of venomous fate.

Kicked in the face,
You can pray for a place
In heaven's unearthly estate.

You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill
I will choose a path that's clear
I will choose free will.

Each of us
A cell of awareness
Imperfect and incomplete.
Genetic blends
With uncertain ends
On a fortune hunt that's far too fleet.

You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill
I will choose a path that's clear
I will choose free will.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is Heavenly Father’s Only Begotten Son in the flesh. He is our Redeemer. Through Jesus Christ, Heavenly Father has provided a way for all people to become like Him and return to live with Him forever. I love Christ. I worship Christ. He is our example and our Savior.

I am totally convinced that you are right. In a funny kind of way, theough, it does not really matter what anyone else thinks...it is what you actually experience that counts.
If you have a life now that you didn't have before that is the central proof....now, go out there and liive it!!

yeah mate, it is all about belief and not about reasoning. i grew up in the soviet union and had no idea of god till i was about 20. i am a believer now but in god and not in church. i mean god is divine and church is human, so when church tells you about you being better than other people (cause they are muslims, lutherans, gays, women etc) i doubt it is still about god. Jesus spoke of love, that is the only thing which matters. "all we need is love..." . So to me Jesus is alive as long as love and compassion live in humanity
