OMG...can you imagine? That would be crazy. Pretty desolate areas on both sides. I am not clear on what the point of doing that would be.

No, it wouldn't be a good idea.
There is very little on the American side of the Bering Strait, and nothing at all on the Russian side.
There aren't even very many roads in that whole upper part of Siberia.
If we were to build a bridge there, it would be a waste of money.

i have seen this many times on the discovery channel.... its not possible, there is not any type of bridge in the world capable of this they would have to combine every type imaginable and then come up with some new ones! it would bankrupt too many people, just like the tower they want to make in Tokyo, its not practical!

unpracticle, a tidal wave would probably take you out half way through or a whale would land across all four lane. how would you get gas?
