when i was younger i had a stong faith in god but since child hood my life has been one tragedy after another. i dont know how many times i have cried my self to sleep begging god to come into my life and show me the way but nothing has ever happened. my life still sucks i have tried going to church and i actually feel kind of stupid that i put so much faith in something for so long when all i ever got was let down after let down. i lost all faith and finally gave up about a month ago and things were actually starting to get better but were still too much for me so last night i tried reaching out to him again only to wake up this morning to find out that my abusive ex boyfriend is trying to find me after four years of being free of him. so christians how do you explain this?

when the crowd ask peter what they should do ,peters reply was for them to repent and be baptized.Acts 2:37-38 ,when the eunuch ask phillip what kept him from being baptized phillips reply was "if thou believest with all thine heart,thou mayest Acts 8:35-39,when Jesus gave His commission to the aposales "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;but he that believeth not shall be damed." Mark 16:16.so how is it people baptize babies? A BABY CANNOT REPENT . A BABY CANNOT BELIEVE WITH ALL ITS HEART. religous people should start reading the Bible .the catholic church put thousands of people to death for not excepting there infant baptizim and being rebaptized after repenting and excepting Jesus with all there heart, I call it being born again . John 3:3

I have a question for my christian friends. Mahatma Gandhi did not accept Jesus into his heart as his savior. Does this mean that he has gone to hell, despite all of the good did?

Also, following that same line of logic, has Adolph Hitler gone to heaven? He was not an "ideal" christian, of course, but did accpet Jesus into his heart as his savior.

I have read statement like that in my Catholic Bible Study.

I am trying to understand this. What about non-Catholics, Jews and Muslems? They will not go to Heaven?

In John 6:51 "I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world."

The other quote, I don't remember where, Jesus said: "The only way to my Father is Through Me."

Can anyone explain all this? What are the Catholic Church's teachings on these quotes and what do other Christian religions teach on the same quotes?

repay him back for what he did for you. He died in Cross for you being tormented and tortured and humiliated.
Repay him back my brothers. It's better to avoid sex completely. You will burn but you will burn for Jesus Christ--you will burn to pure gold. Repression of sex is like prayer and sacrifice to our Lord. Avoid temptation--not even look at or talk with women, if you are unmarried.Do you know it was for the woman that Adam was misguided and disobeyed Jesus to eat the fruit
and bring sin amonst us. Do you know that it was the woman who was actually the first one to commit the sin of disobeying Lord Jesus? Do you know how the name woman came? It was formed from two parts--WOE+MAN.
Lord thus cursed most of the women because they rebelled against the Lord. That's another reason that God incarnated as a man and not a woman.Most women today are transvestites and abominations. God cursed Eve that she will be like a servant to Adam but again you will see--most women don't recognize the Lord's command and again they are rebellious.
If u have sex before marriage then in Gods eyes u are married to that person if a man rapes a woman in Gods eyes they are married.
So, it's better not to even marry.

I had this dream where I was trying to write what I was doing in my daily journal, but I couldn't write it down because the term "Bill Weeks" was written everywhere. Let me explain. It was a dream about the first day I met my current husband (my actual husband in waking life). In my dream, I was back in time in and living that day over, but when I tried to write down that I met him, that name or term "Bill Weeks" appeared everywhere. There was no room for me to write my significant event down. It freaked me out a bit. Any ideas? No, I'm not interested in a guy named Bill or Weeks, this was completely new and random for me.

I've read an article (I think it was on yahoo) that said most people who claim to be straight, gay, or lesbian, are not 100% straight, gay, or lesbian. In other words, most people on this planet are more on the bisexual end of the spectrum; it's just that they lean towards one side silghtly, but not 100%. What's your take on this?
