Im a texan and I'm not racist.....everywhere you go ther are racist. Maybe you heard that because Texas is a southern state and more racists are from the south.

Right now people are confusing racisim with trying to control the borders. We say, ok....no care to illegals for free at Parkland hospital (county taxpayers support it) where over 70% of 16,000 births a year are to illegals and the hispanic doctors say we are racist if we asked if they are here legal. The reason we need to know is if they are here legally the hospital can get federal dollars back by them applying for medicare. some rednecks get so pissed that the state of texas also illegals to get in-state tuition and the military cant get the same deal. The rednecks will start to use racist remarks to scare them off, not that they hate them, its just that when they call their legislators they dont listen. Illegals get more benefits than citizens and the state and fed is controlled by bush who supports amnesty. when the legal way doesnt work, texas does it the illegal way. guns if they have to. Thats what makes texas the proudest state. sounds strange if you havent lived here all your life. they are not racist against black women who are thin, they think they are hard workers, or hispanic men who are muscular...same concept. They are racist against hispanic women who have a child before the age of 20 25% of the time...They are also predujice against the black males and obese females from katrina who overwhelm the system. They are not racist if your hard working. Black women are high in many companies in texas for a reason. They work hard. You can tell the ones that do. they are usually not obese. its the cold hard truth.

Howdy! I'm from Texas. And we are friendly. Most yankees think that we're racist because that's how the south "has always been", but it's not all true. Yes, there are some racists here, but there are racists everywhere. For example... my sister went to Chicago for a summer, and they were asking her the SAME QUESTION--then they turned around and started talking about the black family across the street... now, tell me that they didn't have some prejudice... I think it's pretty much everywhere... but you just hear about it from Texas and the south because that's what people like to believe happens down here. They also think that we all live on Ranches... and (well, I actually do but....) most of us don't.
