For ex all the muslim world was in uproar against the caricatures of Mohammed. And who would dare anything against the Jews.
But people just don't seem to care when Jesus and the faith are mocked and ridiculed.
Is it time to stop turning the other cheek and saying enough is enough. I'm Christian and proud to be so don't you mock my religion.

I made the analogy of an adult giving a child a gun, comparing it to god giving us a choice. If the god you say exists does actually exists then we are like children to him, we cannot possibly expect to comprehend hell, or why we can't do what we want. In this manner we are like a child, we cannot be expected to truly know why we should believe in god. We can't even really be expected to believe in hell. Just cause it's written in a 2000 year old book doesn't mean everyone is going to believe it.

If god doesn't want us to make the wrong choice, he shouldn't give us one. He is powerful enough to stop us. If he's going to allow us to make the wrong choice he can't punish us for it.

I lost my son almost ten years ago and I can still barely speak his name. I believe that I am responsible for his death because I can't think of one good or positive thing I did before he came along. I have tried to make the world a place that I would want him to grow up in. I have worked to become the kind of man that I would want him to be. I feel as though it will never be enough. My pain has never lessened. How can I come to peace.

Alright, I am 17 years old right now, when I was a few months old my father run off, when I was 4 and my mother died I went to live with my father's sister and her husband.

They raised me as their own since they had (and still don't have) any kids of their own. Last night I heard my father wants to come back in my life. Thing is he wants me to "turn straight", or he will not accept me!

Can I change his mind so he will accept me back no matter what?

More impotantly, do I even need him? I feel like I should try to do what he says, even though it's impossible, since he is my father.

Though I wonder how much should I change or hide about myself, for someone I do not even know... What would you do if you were in my place?

What I have gathered is that Kennedy is an Irish name. One Irish woman told me it is related to something like "O'ceneida" pronounced as "Oukeyneida" or son of "Keineida". But what does it really mean? How did it come about? Can someone out there help.

but now my brothers & sisters are sending me there children??? what do i do???... the young / youths of today dont even know me..."i" am a well rounded individule, & am marrried,, have been for 21 years,"i"love my family but they have always been disfuntional, "drug addicted" & "alcholics" im feeling a lil lost in this??? the children seem to be sick, they are in the ages of 15 yrs. to young adults of 25 yrs of age..... i cant help everybody here!!!! In my own interpretation, when singing PRAISE is more like "YOU(God) to me", whereby, WORSHIP is "me to YOU(God)".
We sing praise before worship but my question is: In which are you more "comfortable" with? Like can you "see" & "feel" His presence more when you sing songs of Praise or is it Worship?

My opinion is how can a human evolve when one it takes a male and a female to have a baby. A male and a female can't just evolve, they had to be created, just like cars, Something had to create a male and a female human. How can two humans make something else, they can't, Two apes or monkeys can't make a human, Only two humans can make another human. Can a broom evolve into a dustpan, no, can a stove evolve into a refrigerator, no. These things were created, That is why I believe God may have made Adam and Eve.

Another thing is when a human die he/she can not be alive ever again. So why can't he/she be spending eternity somewhere either in heaven or hell.

The only reason a human was nonexistant was because he/she was never created, now that you are created you exist in the world, and you may still exist after you die.

What is your personal opinion?

I am often interrupted when speaking whether it be from the person I'm speaking with or from another person who just barges in and starts talking about whatever they feel the need for.
I say it is disrespect and that the speaker is seen as insignificant but I'm told it isn't, that it is just rude. What's your opinion?

Sikh people are contributing to each and every field of the society. They are holding some of the highest positions in industry , govt , defence services and public sector companies.But they are very much humiliataed in all public social gatherings , bollywood and even on internet. We enjoy much of Sardar's jokes. Should we take it that still our community is not mature enough ? Even if we observe the behaviour of other countries they respect Sikhs very much. Even some of the countries identify Indians by Sikhs only. Have you ever seen any sikh beggar ? I think it is the time to grow up and behave in much more matured manner towards this very hard working and co-operative community.
