There's a big difference between micro-evolution and macro-evolution. Micro-evolution produces variety within a species. Take dogs for an example. With micro-evolution you can get small dogs, or large dogs, dogs with fur or curly hair. But you always end up with a dog. The theory of macro-evolution, that same dog evolves into a cat.
The Bible says that each species will produce after it's own kind. What controls all the reproduction processes in all living things is DNA. What scientist now know is that DNA code is a digital code, meaning it couldn't have evolve, but had to have been designed by an intelligent creator. The reason we've never found any of Darwin's missing links is because of the uniqueness of DNA. There are no missing links. The Bible was correct when it said after it's own kind.
Another thing scientist now realize is something called irreducible complexity. It takes the information in DNA to produce protein. But it takes protein to produce DNA. Unless both were created fully functional, and the same time, neither DNA or protein could exist.
I think I'm going to put these ideas in a question, and see if any of you atheist can explain them...........because biological scientist are finding out they can't.

Wow, I don't even know where to start. First of all, evolution isn't about brooms turning into dustpans or even monkeys turning into humans. Nowhere in the theory of evolution does it say that humans were descended from apes or vice versa. Rather it says that humans and apes share a common ancestor. Obviously, we evolved very differently over the millions of years since we shared this common ancestor. And secondly, evolution has been observed in many living things. You should really read some of the literature available on Mendel's studies (with plants) or the observations of evolution in the "peppered" moths in industrial England. And of course there's Charles Darwin's research too. I'm not trying to negate your opinion but you really should look at all the facts first because there are a lot of facts to support the theory of evolution but I've yet to see the facts to support creationism.

Evolution, while it does tend to exist for lower lifeforms, as in the plant kingdom, thorns are still on a rose, but today, maybe they are softer.
And a wooley mammoth evolved into an elephant.
But for human life forms, this isn't possible, and the greatest distinction is in the blood. Which by the way, is our life source.
The most common bloodtype for humans is O.
The most common bloodtype for apes is B.
The most common bloodtype for chimps is A.
Apes and Chimps have almost no O, at all.
If we had indeed evolved from primates, wouldn't our all too precious life source have evolved with us?
Anyway, I know my ancesters were not primates.
Anything that is ever created, must first have a creator. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Life doesn't just happen.

There are so many misunderstandings of the ToE that I don't really know where to begin. The number of straw men that you're shredding there should embarass you.
Brooms or stoves don't reproduce and get altered with each reproduction.
If a pair of monkeys or apes somehow produced a human spontaniously, that would fly in the face of the ToE, and it would have to be altered or scrapped entirely.
The species we have today came about by GRADUAL change. Not spontanious. GRADUAL. Stick around for a thousand generations or so, and I think you'll find that quite a few species will have changed noticably. Humans too.
Personal opinion? You are too misinformed about what evolution actually is to make a rational descision about it.

My opinion is that you should learn more about what the theory of evolution actually is before you form your opinion. While you're at it, take a biology class, because you will learn that many organisms do not reproduce sexually. You will also learn that evolutionary change on a large scale takes a large amount of time to occur (so your 2 monkeys = human statement is an erroneous misrepresentation of evolution)
As for your statement about eternity....that has nothing to do with the rest of your question. Evolution is about the change in species over time, and not about the existence of the afterlife, the origins of the universe, or any of the many other things that far too many Christians believe it to be.

The argument about eternity is totally irrelevant -- has nothing to do with the case. Evolution is established science: this means that workers in the field rely on it to make correct predictions. Even if there were no other evidence for evolution, this fact alone would justify accepting it. But there is other evidence, and it is overwhelming -- see the dialog in this forum with a question by haterhater and response by Emily Rose in May. By contrast, "God creation" is not science at all: it can be proved that this idea can predict nothing, and it is therefore useless. It is evident that you do not know how evolution works; the fact that you have posed this question suggests that you have some interest in finding out, so you should see the reference.

every culture has a creation story. If I say that the jewish version is correct then why are the others wrong. We all came from adam and eve though supernatural means. Ok, then prove to me that man did't get fire from Prometheus. Prove that the world did't start as a ocean of milk.Etc
I prefer a deist creation idea. God but all the laws of nature in nature. The started the natural process. I do not think that ID has a place in this.
side note in 1996 Pope john paul said "evolution is more then a theory"

Sexual reproduction is one of the main factors that drives evolution. Each child is a combination of its parents. Without sexual reproduction, you would be a clone of your mother and males wouldn't exist. Males and females MUST evolve. It is impossible for them not to.
Brooms do not evolve into dustpans or stoves into refrigerators because they do not reproduce and therefore cannot evolve. Anything that reproduces is capable of evolution.
If God decided to create humans in their current form, then he wasted enormous amounts of energy and understood nothing about chemistry or physics. Shouldn't an almighty, omniscient God value intelligence over brute force?

I agree with you, as I am a Christian. I believe in God and every word in the bible. I honestly believe the biggest problem in society that started when the suggestion of evolution started is evolution itself. Evolution teaches that we the human race basically just happened. Therefore we have absolutely no significance or importance, we happened by mere chance. I think that tells people it's ok to throw your life away by doing drugs or taking another life, why not, if life means absolutely nothing anyway? Evolution brought forth much racial hatred and fueled the actions of people like Hitler and anyone else under the impression their race is superior. But when you look at God as the creator of the human race, and His reason for creation which would be to have fellowship with us it puts a much different spin on things. It shows we do have a purpose in life, our lives are important to Him. We mean something, but most of all we mean something to the creator of the heaven's and the earth, it's pretty mind boggling.
Besides that evolution makes absolutely no sense. And I truly feel sorry for those who beilieve it's how we came about. At the end of Darwin's life he himself admitted to believing quite pjossibly there is a God. He was quoted as saying he had no idea his suggestion of evolution would catch on like wildfire. The human body is so complex there is no possible chance we came about thru evolution.
God bless

The opinions expressed in response to this question do not bear any more resemblance to human intelligence than the question.
What fun when words are filled with passionate belief and totally devoid of any glimpse of what's real. If the Tower of Babel and Dilbert had a child, it would talk like this. I love it!
Go Christians!! Go Atheists!! Go Yahoo Answers!! I am contributing what I can by being your cheerleader. I love you all and would be so disappointed if any of you started behaving in a rational manner.
