Before 911, I was part of a mega-church community. After 911 I started studying Islam and in the process, examining religion itself.

About two years into the process, I felt the first spikes of doubt in my own faith. When I reached a understanding of Islam, I concluded that it was a horribly destructive force in the world and tried deprogramming Muslims online by discussing Quran errors.

Doing this as a hobby, for a few years, I learned a lot. First, only the educated people could be deprogrammed and that took time...months. Second, the methods of rationalization Muslims used could be applied to other religions as well. I then explored whether I was rationalizing and discovered I was.

Furthermore, when I learned how horrible a self-righteous violent religious animal could be, i asked myself why God even allows such things. Consider how Muslims passionately praise God during their violence "Alluah Akbar!!!", surely God could stop such "misrepresentations" right?

Can you please forgive me for me stereotyping you?
I am an American. I am also a Christian. I have also wronged each of you. Since 9/11 I have shoved all Muslims in a box labelled "terrorists". I realized through my church service this morning that this is wrong. I have not been a very good representative of God or of Jesus Christ. Please forgive me. I now acknowledge the fact that only a few extremist groups have defined the face of Muslims. This is not accurate. Again, I sincerely apologize.

I may not agree with or accept your teachings, but I want you to know that I hate you no longer. (I only dislike the terrorist groups; I am certain you will agree!) Jesus Christ loves each of you as He loves me. He died on the cross for both of our sins. Again, please forgive me for my error.

This is a cornerstone doctrine of Islam and a key reason why global jihadist passionaely fight to install Allah's will upon us all.

This central doctrine of Islam claims that, in the Quran and Sunnah (sayings of Muhammad) Allah has given us an entire code of conduct and rules for governance. These rules cover everything from hygine to war and fill libraries.

The illiterate man (majority of Muslims) is thus at a disadvantage here...he must rely on their Imam or Mullah, and as we all know, they certainly do. This is why Islamic religious leaders command armies and militias, because essentially, they are conduits to God for which the regional illiterate Muslim follows without question.

Each region has Imams with slightly or majorly different interpretations...this gives rise to endless islamic sectarian violence that will never end...ever.

Islamic unrest should thus never be surpising. If Allah has given an exact law for all humans to follow then all should be forced to follow
