Yes, but it is not my fault that I was born that way. It was not like I chose it, it is just the way it is. I, and people like me, are shunned because we prefer and like women. It is not our fault that we do not like having sex with men - and I do not think it fair that people keep picking on us whenever we are seen with a woman or talking on street corners with them. Because of all the prejudice against us, we heterosexuals have to have our own bars and clubs where we can mix with women and other men like ourselves. I actually pray for the day when we are accepted as normal and allowed to go about our business irrespective of our sexual orientation...................

Actually, the bible says that you will be Heterosexual IF you are raped at a young age. It is very sad that so many people have been abused as children....but if people are not brave enough to admit they have been raped, there is little that can be done. Once the child has been 'turned,' there is just no saving him or her. Very sad, indeed. But, we all cannot be perfect, and it is up to us to protect this misguided bunch...Good luck

LMAO!! yes, I think they ARE born that way! just like I was born lesbian....

Lucky no. 13, it is NOT a choice, nor is it, like you narrow-minded homophobes keep thinking, "caused" by some influence or some incidence of being molested/raped. I've known people who were molested/raped who are still straight.
I have straight parents, I wasn't molested or raped, nor did I know anyone growing up who was gay that would have "influenced" me. no one "taught" me to be gay....it is not a "learned" behavior. I didn't even meet anyone openly gay until long after I realized I was, so that blows away your lame theory, now doesn't it, bigot?

I believe some people are designed to be homosexual, just as some people are designed to be heterosexual.

I don't think choice has anything to do with it, we're born that way.

Everyone is born with a proclivity for being a certain way, however environment does have its influence.

:o)

Yes, it's obviously a 'choice' that they make.
Some think it may come from an over-nurturing mother (for girls) or father (for boys).
Soon they ignore their true nature and start breeding like rabbits! (ewww....)

Kidding of course, but it's nice to see the bigoted question turned on its ear for a change!

It is not a defect. It is an evolutionary feature facilitating the continued survival of the human species by sexual reproduction between one male and one female of the species. sometimes things go wrong and the offspring is sexually deviant and thus is a dead end. Unfortunately, these sexual deviants are semi-sentient, leading to half baked ideas suggesting that the "heteros" are the deviant ones. This phenomena is also encountered in various deviant cultures such as computer hacking, gang culture, etc. where deviant behavior is seen as the norm and those who practice it need no justification for their actions, while they question the standard human behaviors of those not in their sub-group.
