Can you please forgive me for me stereotyping you?
I am an American. I am also a Christian. I have also wronged each of you. Since 9/11 I have shoved all Muslims in a box labelled "terrorists". I realized through my church service this morning that this is wrong. I have not been a very good representative of God or of Jesus Christ. Please forgive me. I now acknowledge the fact that only a few extremist groups have defined the face of Muslims. This is not accurate. Again, I sincerely apologize.

I may not agree with or accept your teachings, but I want you to know that I hate you no longer. (I only dislike the terrorist groups; I am certain you will agree!) Jesus Christ loves each of you as He loves me. He died on the cross for both of our sins. Again, please forgive me for my error.

Thankyou for your good intentions, and for realizing that 99% of Muslims want peace. Our beliefs may be different, but Allah has said to always look for the good in others, even if they are not from the same flock. I see the good in your question, and even though I don't believe in what you believe fundamentally, I just wanted to let you know that you have taken an excellent first step.

Now, an even better step would be to befriend one of us, so you can learn even more about what Islam is really about. That way, you will see how much we really have in common, not just things that make us different from each other. For instance, there are a lot of the same parables in the Bible as in the Quran. That is a good place to start a conversation with a Muslim person. Then you will see that you can actually have a respectful conversation with a person of a different religion. Thankyou, and Salam.

am a muslim woman and I appreciate of your apology, but you don't have to do that I think, because it was just your stereotype amongs muslim, unless you ve done something harmful to some muslims then you should apologize to them.

Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things. (2;256) Al Qur'an.

What you have said is all fine & let me tell you that, no religion is bad.

Always they teach us good things.......... but it is the foolish or devil minds they think in defferent way & try to give the name "religion"

I was told by one Bangladeshi friend that, in their country the mullas (preachers) encourage to convert other religion peoples by any means (hook or crook!). If they don't agree then they rape their womens infront of their family members.

There is no action from the Govt nor anybody. Such things are never reported in new papers too. How sad it is..........

According to him this kind of things are still going on....

I believe you could file this under the 'We'll agree to disagree' category. I too am a Christian who has left behind my foolish stereotypes and bigotry against our Muslim brothers.

Don't ask forgiveness from men. There is only one God...Allah. Read the Qu'ran with an open heart and mind and you will see the true nature of Allah/God. There is no equal to Allah...put no man or object above Allah.
