Well brophy, it goes back to 1945, and there is a very simple explination for it. Do you remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Well the results of nuclear radiation, although hilarious, are carcinogenic. Now it would appear these cancer causing agents have penitrated deep into the heart of Asia and entered the grammer portion of their brains. (I believe it's in the frontal lobe)
Hope this helps

English is the most difficult language to learn. Check this out, two words that mean two totally different things SOUND the SAME; Witch and which and watch (like look) and watch (like wrist watch). Not to mention, I don't understand why the word committee has to use two "m's", two "t's", and two "e's" to spell the dang word. why can't it be spelled "comity"? this is why there are so many asian people who have bad grammar. another thing you probably don't realize (because you are ignorant) is that there are a lot of people beside asians who have bad grammar; you for one, and actually a lot of white-Americans who can't spell, read, write, and/or know the difference between "hero" and "herro". idiot!

Their grammar is not bad...it's just different and really more formal than most...you see: they often speak "backwards" (sounds like that to us) but they are just taking the clearest way of saying something...and by the way: many immigrants talk this way when learning English....not just the Asians

Today, most individuals are without propper backgrounds and education. In particular, the "Latch Key" generation.
Propper English, is generally used in writing and conversation of the well educated, white collar sect, and the very affluent.
Because have never cracked open a dusty one( its called a book)

Speakers of some Asian languages such as Chinese, Vietnamese and Indonesian have difficulties with European languages because their own languages don't have definite articles (the), indefinite articles (a), changes in nouns for plurals (adding an 's'), and changes in verbs for tense (adding an 'ed' for past tense, or past participles, 'will' for future tense, etc).
