can anyone help with this halloween costume idea?

I don't have a lot of money but wanted to make a costume this year...I want to dress up like a toilet. does anyone have any tips on how to make a toilet costume?

You should wrap yourself totally in Saran Wrap and go as lunch meat

Try using a large ball and put paper mache around it. Make it really thick and with lots of glue. When it dries, cut a hole in it and take the rubber ball out if it collapses. Maybe it won't, it might stay together and be more supportive. Use cardboard to be the lid behind you, and wear white tights (or a matching color to the toilet). Your legs will be the base, and your body that sticks out, dress like a tidy bowl man or woman. I'm making this up, but it might work.

The outhouse suggestion also has the advantage of being easier to construct. You can do it relatively easily with cardboard boxes and tape.

The curves of the commode will be more difficult to recreate in any kind of realistic way. Still, you might be able to make a crude facsimile, using cardboard.

If you insist on being more realistic, you might try to construct the commode with papier mache, perhaps over a chicken wire frame. This should be a real sculptural challenge.

I know you don't have a lot of money but the best thing to do is go to a fabric store and buy the pattern. Then buy the material and follow the pattern. It should be easy. Just buy the cheap material, it's almost the same as the expensive material. Good luck.

Why on earth would you want to ... never mind.

You could probably start with a real toilet lid (detach one of yours & clean well) and wear it around your neck, white clothes, include toilet paper. There are noisemakers that sound like a toilet flushing - it'd be cool if you could find one of those.

Use boxes and paint them the color of your toilet.Keep the lids on the boxes.(Well Only use 1 big TV box)(But Keep the lid on it)Cut holes in the bottom of the box so you can walk in your coustome.(Well hoels for your Legs and Feet)(Do all that when the paint is dried)Then Poke tiny holes in each side of the box.(Only 1 tiny hole in the middle of each side of the box)Then get yarn or thread and sew the yarn or thread through the tiny holes.(Make sure you start from the outside first when you are sewing through the tiny holes.(Dont tie them together when you sewed throgh all the tiny holes)Then just get a spoon,knife,fork,or paper and tape one of them to the side of the lid.Then Cut Two more holes on the side of the box for your Hands to go.(Cut the two holes close to the top of the box but still on the side of the box)Time for decorating!!!First get a blue marker,paint,colored pencil,or a crayon.Color inside of your toilet with one of those things using blue.Color about half of inside the box blue.(Color the bottom of inside the box)(I would paint the toilet white)If you want to be gross with your toilet you know what else to put inside it.If you do not want to be gross with it then dont put inside it what you know that I know I am thinking of.Lets get on with the string.Step inside the box but put your feet inside where the two big holes are.Then lift the box up untill it reaches about your neck part.Then tie the string around your stoamach untill it is tight enough where the toilet wont fall down.(Make sure you can still breath and that it does not hurt you)And there you go a perfect toilet coustome!!!Have a Happy Halloween and have a blast of FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh ya and to make it extra fun Stick a role of toilet paper inside of your toilet!!!If you are a kid and still going trick-or-treating for the trick-or-treating basket use a toilet plunger holder and keep the toilet plunger inside the holder and put a strap on the holder so you can carry it!!!(but first buy a new one so it is not dirty safty always comes first!!!!!!!!!!!)if you are an adult and not trick-or-treating then still but a new toilet plunger but first stick it inside the toilet!!!!!!!!!!!!!Oh ya and remamber to wear clothes on under the toilet!!!!!!!!Have a blast of fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!

take aluminum foil and make like a toilet seat thing then spray paint it white. Then put it around your waist. Then wrap toilet paper around your arms as if they were holders. Then wear like a dark colored shorts or something and take a brown marker and draw like poop shaped objects all over your legs. I dunno thats a hard one. Good Luck!!

cardboard boxes (free from grocery stores) hot glue brass fastners, paint and IMMAGINATION, oh and a few ice breakers containers (painted) so you can use them as the urinal cakes


also maybe paper machea (spelling ??) and chicken wire base ? depending on budget
