He's my best friend. Everyone from our close group of friends know he's gay and we're totally OK with it. I don't have the guts to ask him point-blank, but I'd like for him to feel supported. He's from a very conservative family. I can sense that not coming out is stressing him tremendously. What to do?

Plenty of suicides come from gothic rock. techno's main audience is druggies. Emo talks about slitting their wrists because their girlfriend broke up with them! Since when is CANNIBAL CORPSE, Black Sabbath, and Cradle of Filth positive role models??

Example is Deuteronomy where God says that if we do not follow his laws our wives will be raped, we will suffer boils, disease, tumors, rashes and a cornucopia of other misfortunes. I regularly go against the laws of God and yet i live a profitable life full of joy and am happily married with a wife that has never been raped. If the claims the Bible makes are false then can't we assume that the bible is also false?

hello..... I believe in God with all my heart....I believe he is everywhere and that he is unique....but I have some friends who do not believe in God....they always ask me of some evidences that make them believe in God, I tell them any kind of evidence I know and that why we should believe in God......but they never understand me..... what kind of evidence do atheists want to make them believe in God ? ...thank you....

I was once in bad-mixed up practices eg: assault, theft etc. However, I turned dedicated-Christian and accepted Jesus into my life. A veteran christian friend tells me now that if I was to go to jail as a Christian for a crime I may have committed before, I would be respected and left-alone because of my strong belief. Would a strong believer of Christ get treated differently in prison?

Would love to hear from ex-inmates.

According to Christianity Jesus sacrificed his life for your sins. How can that be if

1) He was expecting help?
"And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?"—Matthew 27:46.

2) He was dying and going back to being a God (upgrade) and so He knew he would be ressurected.

``I am, and you will see me sitting at the right hand of God, and returning to earth in the clouds of heaven.'' Mark 14:62

Now on the next day, which was the day after the Preparation Day, the chief priests and the Pharisees were gathered together to Pilate, saying, "Sir, we remember what that deceiver said while he was still alive:'After three days I will rise again.'Mathew 27:63-64

3) You reap what you sow

Don't be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap .Galatians 6:7

So what exactly did he sacrifice his life for?
