Is their belief wish-fulfillment?

Why would anyone - regardless of belief in the afterlife - want this world to end?

It is weird that we always hear so much about Jesus and his religion side and his reasons to come, but NEVER heard of, anything that suggests his appearance, weight, height and even age.

Just for the records: I do not believe Jesus to be the son of god, or god.

I do want to be rich one day but sometimes feel really guilty when I see news coverage and programmes on TV of all the starving children and adults in Africa.

There is a simple way to see if someone has the true Jesus or not. By true Jesus, I mean the one of the Bible, not the one of Mormonism who is the brother of the devil, nor the Jehovah's Witness Jesus who is Michael the Archangel, and certainly not the one of the New Age Movement who is simply a man in tune with the divine consciousness.

The Jesus of the Bible is prayed to (Acts 7:55-60; Psalm 116:4 and Zech. 13:9 with 1 Cor. 1:1-2).
The Jesus of the Bible is worshiped (Matt. 2:2,11; 14:33; 28:9; John 9:35-38; Heb. 1:6)
The Jesus of the Bible called God (John 20:28; Heb. 1:8).
In cult theologies, Jesus is a creation in one form or another (this is why the Jehovah's Witnesses add the word ‘other' four times to Col. 1:16-17). Therefore, He is not to be prayed to, worshiped, or called God.
If you are a Christian then you will be able to pray to Jesus, not just through. You will be able to worship Jesus equally with the Father. Do you have the true Jesus?

It lasts for a few minutes when I'm very relaxed. I could stop it if I get up and walk around. I think it is some kind of physiological thing, not an entity, or Satan, or anything like that.

I was in a department store parking lot and seen a woman slap a child a few times excessively hard but i didn't want to get involved. Should i have said something? If she were bold enough to do something like that in public could it be worse at their home?

In the spirit of dialogue and mutual understanding, I put the following thought experiment to the muslim community:
Let us draw a picture of a man, a wise, kind man with love for God in his eyes. Perhaps he has a beard to show his fatherly attributes. If we then draw the word "Mohammed" below the picture, does it then become sacrilegous? Why?
