I am in the midst of a career change and so I'll be going back to school in September, but first I'm looking at an interesting and different way to spend my summer. Any ideas of things to do??? And I am in my late 20's so please keep that in mind.

go to alaska and work for the summer...good money, interesting people, new sights to see. i did it for three summers and had an awesome time. you can catch a ferry in Bellingham, Washington and ride up through the inside passage. take a sleeping bag. Ketchikan is a great town-first one you get to in Alaska. there is a hostel you can stay at inexpensively til you find a job, and some of the canneries have bunk houses. have fun!

Go partying with your friends or visit a beautiful place, take pictures and make an album out of it. There you place what you did last summer of 2006.

Just go in the Philippines and they are promoting some vacation sites and fun activities to get busy.

get yourself a motorcycle and be a hot biker chick, dont worry they do make smaller bikes that are easier to handle. and they're really not as dangerous as people say.

go to spain or new zealand. Goto alaska for fishing or even try to go to skydiving camp if its available
